There is about as much reason to review Office as there is to critique air. I want to simply make the point that Virtual PC, included with Office Pro, is dreadfully slow and, unless you are desperate for a way to run Windows at a slug's pace, you are better off purchasing a cheaper version of Office.

In trying to find the Mac equivalent for Microsoft OneNote, I bought Notetaker from Aquaminds. The current verison is actually 2.0. While useful, it is a burden to use. Nothing is intuitive, so I find myself struggling through menus and the manual to do simple things like create outlines or bulleted lists with indents. The neter key (and other simple keys like shortcuts and tabs) do not behave like you might expect the, to. Printing is also a burden, as there are very few page setup options. I have been using this program for three monts, and it's still a chore. Becuase it is not intuitive, you have to struggle all over again to figure out how you did something before, unless you use that feature all the time. Kudos to the Write Bros. for putting together this easy to use screenwriting program. It makes staying in the moment as I write a cinch - something that is often challenging since it is so very easy for a writer (at least this writer) to give way to distractions. I also commend the tech support team - I have called with all kinds of questions and always get someone on the line quickly, who is completely proficient and cheery to boot. I give this program a real thumbs up to all writers who want to keep the process simple.

I bought this for the newer Mac version of My Mail List. I found the older version, (4)which runs strictly on classic, is friendlier and offers bulk mail sorting, which the new version does not. However for club rosters and customization and sorting, it's great!! I have not tried the other software included with the package.

With all the Word Processors, Word Perfect still gives you more then all the others. The WYSISYG is much better then MS Word (IMHO) and easier to use. When I had to upgrade from WP 6, it was a bit getting used to but the feature I liked best is if you mis-type a word, it will be underlined in red so you can correct it or you can use QUICK CORRECT. The new blue lines showing you where the margins are and how to change within the document, WONDERFUL! WP 7 has more fonts , grapnics, and being able to write HTML is an added plus!
