This is a great tool for learning the language via immersion. Rather than teaching through a structural method in which the mechanics and vocabulary of any given language are laid out in an organized manner, with Rosetta stone you learn mostly through pictures and figuring things out on your own. This works really well as a means of forcing you to confront and use the language based on hearing, rather than reading, but I personally have found that it still works better as just a supplement to a more traditional structural textbook approach to learning the language. I read a couple of reviews about bugs in MMS 6, and to be honest, the bugs I've encountered so far are minimal at best (from what I've read, all of these screen / play / television writing software packages have bugs anyway -- there's no getting away from it completely). If you are worried about minor glitches, just save your work regularly and you'll be ok. I used Screenwriter years ago and couldn't decide between upgrading to MMS 6 and Final Draft 7; but I've heard so many complaints (all over the web, including on Amazon) about Final Draft 7 that I went with Screenwriter 6 instead. This is my first language software that I have ever used, so I don't have any other product to compare it to. But I am almost done with Level 1 and I actually really enjoyed using it since it is very interactive and the learning method they use (correlating images to words etc) seems to be working for me. The only thing that i am slightly disappointed is that I only purchased Level 1 and decided to purchase Level2 and 3, but if you notice they don't offer this combination (Marketing scheme???). So I emailed their Sales rep through their website and asked if they offer any discount for level2 and 3 combined. Kaplan normally does a very good job with review materials. This one seems like it was hastily made and not updated very recently. It's still a good product, deserving of a good rating. It certainly addresses the right subject material, but I would like to see a name like Kaplan provide a more dynamic user experience.

I was able to write a power point presentation at work after just a few hours learning power point. The lessons are hands on and they show you exactly where to click or type in information. Better than a teacher because no tests and you can go over it till you get it right.

A couple months ago, i got a new PC and something went wrong when trying to transfer all my music to the new computer. I had 900 songs on my iPod, but none on my computer. Using PD Rescue, i got all the song back and it only took about and hour for the whole process!! The program is easy to use and does what its supposed to. I had no problems!! THANKS PD RESCUE!!!!
