I played this game when it very first came out, when I was in my early teens. Feeling rather sentimental, I decided to order it despite my fear that it wouldn't work on my brand new computer. I also have an older PC with XP still on it, and figured if the game didn't work with Vista I could always play it on the old PC. All of the discs installed and loaded without issue on my new PC. The original AOE played with no problems. When I got into AOE II, I did encounter one problem with the graphics. Everything was a weird color. Grass was red, water was green, the trees were blue, and the animals were technicolor. However, going to the Options menu and changing the resolution and graphics quality fixed that problem. I had one of the original versions of Master Cook (3 1/2 floppy and no spell check). I found out that there were later versions and obtained the latest copy. I was able to upload the recipes to the newer version. A lengthy spell check process was started. As I have time I have entered my recipes into Master Cook. There were several folders and boxes of recipes I had collected. Usually by the time I found the recipe I was looking for, the event had passed. With Master Cook, can do a quick search online and find the recipe.

Bought this game new and everything seemed to be going fine, until I tried to get online and play with friends (the whole reason I bought the game), only to get the message that my CD key could not be validated. All their technical support said was: Unfortunately, we no longer have keys available for replacement in this game. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. How disappointing, and to make it worse they just simply ignored all further inquiries including how I might get a refund. Stay a way from this game! And I'd suggest you consider avoiding ever buying anything from this publisher too--they seem to have no problem with selling you something that doesn't work and leaving you out to dry.

This is not a game for the casual game-playing public. If you think Civ4 is complex and challenging, EU3 is not for you. On the other hand, if you are a serious armchair general/dictator looking for a grand strategy platform, this is the best and latest from the studio that also produced the excellent Heart of Iron series. As can be expected for a game of this genre, the learning curve is steep and the time required is long. The gameplay, however, is deep, broad and long-lasting, so to each his own.

Danielle Townsend's review is incorrect. She apparently left realism mode on "easy". The only reason the turn coordinator wouldn't work is if she left "auto-rudder" turned on, which will result in turns always being coordinated and the coordinator always centered. Also on easy mode, single prop planes won't pull left, etc., making it less realistic. However, I have realism mode set to hard, and I don't really notice any difference between the flight models of FSX vs. XP9. Anyway, more to the point, I'm not a pilot, just someone who wishes they were. So, I bought Flight Simulator X Deluxe Addition and the Acceleration expansion...and I bought X-Plane 9 since it seemed like the only competition out there. Lego racers is a really fun game, we used to play it all the time when we were kids. It's a VERY short game though, you can easily finish it in one sitting. haven't had the chance to play the second one yet, but my younger brother already doesn't like it that much. Says the first one is better.

This is a cute game...I can safely let my kids play this without supervision. Fun. Better with the wheel accessory.

the best hard truck game ever and Ive played them all. Amazing graphics and real life highways across america. And I like that you dont just pick a region and thats it, you can start in any city you want then truck to wherever you want. Its basically a player friendly game
