I purchased Manga Studio EX Pro primarily as a money and time saver. Screentone is expensive, and rendering the zillions of lines that manga-style artwork requires consumed too much time and energy. While I haven't had a lot of time with the program to date, what I have done with it so far is very promising. The scanning interface is painless and the menus reminiscent of Photoshop, which makes the learning curve that much less steep for me. I am very glad to have found this product, and am so far quite impressed. Rah, e frontier!

I downloaded and testing this for three days now and so far its been easy to use no conflicts with my firewall or antivirus program it flags websites with known virus or spyware with options on what you can do before entering the site.

I bought this item from Amazon and it arrived last night. I tried to install it on my computer but I kept getting the message "invalid serial number" even though the serial number was typed correctly. We called the company this morning and were told they would email the correct serial number in a few minutes. Hours passed. No email. We called again. They told us they would email the serial number. We did receive an email from them but it did not include the serial number. The email instructed us to scan in the receipt and the software packaging with the incorrect serial number. We complied. Poser Figure Artist has many features that make it ideal for artists, including but not limited to realistic light and shadows and the ability to pose every part of the body, even the finger tips. It should, however, be easier to learn how to pose and move the figure. This is one program that I could not work/ manipulate without the manual, located as a PDF on the CD.

I love this software so far! I just wish I could afford Manga Studio EX just for the extra features! This software is wonderful in providing me the chance to sketch before I throw together a composition! I admit the fact that layers can be used as either a finished drawing or sketch is a big help. Too bad you can't make drawings in color!

Great product for the greatly reduced price! Only hitch is the options menu once brought up won't close unless you hit Esc which is not explained in the instructions. Don't try to put too many fish in your ocean as it gets pretty crowded! If you click the camera on a small fish it will follow that fish everywhere it goes even in screen-saver which is pretty cool. All the scenes play-out very smoothly with no freeze-framing. Aquazone 2: Oceans of the World

graphics are not as realistic as i thought they would be. Blue Ocean scene looks like it's covered in silt and is dead. Fish are too small and sharks move slowly and sometimes backward!?

I just uninstalled it after I got it going (after wasting about 8 hours fiddling). Here are the main reason I could not work with it any more: (1) Stability: I have Windows XP Service pack 2. And nine times the application just closed with 'could not read memory error'. Twice it just hung for no reason. When it does crash, it does not try to restart the application - so if you leave it running and go away, be prepared to miss a few FAX's as it might not be running when you get back! It is a while since I have seen an application that is as unstable as this and prone to crashes on a stable well built high spec computer. People tolerated cr*ap 10 years ago when it was acceptable to get the odd blue screens of deaths - but not now! I cant tolerate an application that does ... Read More
