Purchased July, 2008. I'm not sure what rating to give this Office 2007 Professional upgrade, as it works well once you get it installed, but getting it installed was like having my teeth pulled! I've read several reviews on this product, and found many of the reviewers frustrated with installs that would error off, portions of programs not working properly, and the like. I too, had an install problem. First attempt wouldn't even open the install program. Changed drives, and it did open, but as soon as the install started, it would error off. I cleaned both drives, and tried again. Good product. I have had it for 3 weeks now and have only had one issue with the new software. My palm treo did not sync right with outlook 2007. I was able to download a patch and fix the problem with in minutes.

Despite what the label suggests, this is not an SP1 upgrade. It is an upgrade of Vista which happens to include SP1. This is not a low-cost version of Vista. You have to buy the full package AND the upgrade....

Very good for a lesser costing program. The four rating is only because I have not mastered all of the upgrades from Work's 4.5 that I have used for over ten years.

Notice that the only positive reviews of this product are from people who are either new to MS Office, new to the Mac, or both. Microsoft's recent products are so painfully awful (such truly excruciating steps backward in quality) that perhaps both PC users and Mac users should move en masse to some alternaive, such as the open source office suites. After all, if MS cannot produce either a usable operating system (see Vista) or a usable office suite, why are we still giving them any of our business?

I am an individual user wanting this product to replace my greetings software and home publisher which are full of glitches with Windows XP. This product is cumbersome, difficult to navigate, very user unfriendly and incredibly expensive. Seriously I would try to find any other product than this one. 8/2008

Microsoft forces it down people's throats by trying to stop XP support & coercing comp manufacturers into exclusively offering Vista, but now they're trying to change their tone. Don't buy Mojave ads and don't buy Vista. Vista is obsessed with looks. Unfortunately the resource-hog features like Aero (semi-transparent borders? really?) don't help productivity. And after the first 5 seconds of use, you really don't notice the fluff anymore. What you do notice beyond the first 5 seconds is the sluggishness, even with the fluff turned off. Opening the control panel takes 15 seconds. Accessing a folder's list with a large number of files is agonizingly slow (and didn't Vista start as Longhorn, a faster file-accessing goal?)
