I bought this software with the following in my mind: "I need a program that asks me some simple question about the shed I want to build and will do the design for me". And in that respect, the program worked just great. It has a shed wizard that does just that and the result is spectacular. BUT... I wanted to add a window to my shed (do I ask for too much?). Well... It was not easy and after doing this the window did not show up in my list of material. I wanted to put dimensions on my drawing and they all look... odd and out of place. You also can't have a mix of dimensions between feet and inches... Now please take all these comments with a grain of salt. I never used a DesignCAD product in my entire life.

Been using DesignCAD since DesignCAD 2000. V18 adds some bells an whistles, but pretty much the same interface as older versions. Not seeing crash or hang problems on V18.2.

I wanted to design a kitchen in my flat so I decided to try this software. What a mistake! I cannot stress how poor this software is. $30 is not much to pay for a basic product, but it is a lot to pay for nothing. Due to a raft of bugs it is virtually impossible to achieve anything productive. It's a struggle to even draw a set of walls. As for trying to get the software to show the wall dimensions....forget it! Walls start to mysteriously dissapear, text starts to collide on the design obscuring values, and some of the graphics don't print including the measurements. The design file becomes 'corrupted' preventing any new graphics being added...and I suspect it's .dxf export function doesn't produce valid .dxf files, which means the design/work is stuck in the software. The Easy Language 16 is only useful if you're already familiar with the language you wish to learn. I've been studying French for months before buying this product and found it to be helpful when I'm getting rusty. The only problem is that it's hard to make out what is being said because the sound is not clear. The recorded speakers also don't bother to slow down to give you a chance to understand or repeat what is being said. This is good cause it's like listening to an actual French speaker and not a robot, bad if you actually want to learn how to pronounce what is being said. It will also go over basic French grammar but is totally useless if you don't already know basic French grammar. I also tried to use this to learn Japanese.
