I've used FormTool for years. It's paid for itself many times over. It's one of those programs I don't use all the time, but would certainly miss if I didn't have it. It's like any software, it takes time to get the hang of it (it's not quick, and yes, it can be frustrating--like almost any software). I don't connect to databases, use formfiller, or do calculations (I don't use templates, either), I just create forms. It's not perfect, but it's good for just creating forms, and it's cheap. I upgrade when new versions appear and always get the least expensive version. I've tried to make forms in MS Word (ya wanna be really frustrated, try that!) and in Excel, but neither comes even close to the ease and functionality of FormTool.

I trained on and used two much more expensive CAD programs before I retired as a facility director. This program is a terrific value and is much more sophisticated than I had expected.

Anyone that think's DesignCad 3D Max is hard to use would think any CAD software is hard to use. I purchased DesignCad 3D Max a few year ago, and though I had 30 years of design and drawing board experence, I too thought the program was hard and maybe even impossible to use. After 3 months of trying, I gave up and took two semesters of AutoCAD from the Community College. I now find 3D CAD and other CAD program very easy to use. Thus, how hard a program is to use depends on your knowledge. I suggest anyone getting a CAD program to first take a few Community College classe, or at least get someone that knows how to use CAD to get you started. Once learned, you'd never use a drawing board or anything else again to do your designs or sketches. Good luck

The program turned out to be much more complex then I anticipated but I'm sure with more time, and a bit more diligence on my part to learn all the ins and outs, it will successfully provide the end result I'm looking for. I purchased this program to create 3D drawings of projects I'd like to create in wood.

I used to use a much earlier version of turbocad for Mac OS 7. That program was wonderful. When this was introduced I naturally assumed it would be a much better update and just as easy to use. I was wrong. The program is difficult to use, or rather get started with. and there doesn't seem to be a way to easily set the grid or the final output size as there was in the previous versions. Overall, I'm very disappointed in this product. The Manual wasn't much help either.

I purchased this software with the understanding that I would have available 2.5 million images. There were no insrtuctions on how to install it. I contacted tech support who informed me how to install the part of the software that would accept the images on my Macintosh, but did not know how to import the images from the cd's to my computer. It is without doubt the worst software program I have ever purchased and IMSI can not inform you how to use it. AVOID at all costs it is worthless.
