While expensive, this is by far the best Spanish learning program I have used. As a beginner this program gets you going right away with immersion in the language. Through familiarity new words are learned and the creative lessons build upon each other. I do not have time to take a Spanish course and this program lets me learn at my own pace when I want to. I use this on my Vista computer and it works fine. Highly recommended!

While expensive, this is by far the best Spanish learning program I have used. As a beginner this program gets you going right away with immersion in the language. I bought this software as we were planning a trip to France and wanted to learn it before leaving. We were able to create different accounts for each family member, which was great. We all had a lot of fun doing it together as there are tons of different exercises. It is very complete and extensive. The speaking activities are very useful and I truly fell I improved my pronunciation. Learning French has been a blast with tell me more.

I enjoy learning new things not related to work. I decided to try to pick up a language after basically failing Latin and French back in Junior High and High School (back in the 70's). It was Rosetta Stone that got me interested but before I purchased it I decided to look for other suggestions. I found some references to Tell Me More! around the web and decided I'd try this instead of Rosetta. I couldn't compare one to the other but I have been very pleased with Tell Me More! At first it was a bit difficult to get started. I first took a look at the User Manual. I was a little confused about activation and found out it wasn't necessary as I had bought the full product. I purchased this about a week ago after reading reviews on several products, including Rosetta Stone, and am very pleased with the quality of the program. There are loads of activities for each level, including pronunciation practice, crossword puzzles, and the like so you can reinforce what you are learning. You can also make CD or MP3 copies of the audio portions so you can listen and practice on the go. The program uses a number of speakers, both male and female, so you get accustomed to a variety of voices, which seems like a practical idea. It even comes with a nifty headset/microphone for the speech recognition function. However, there are a couple of negatives, which is why I didn't give 5 stars. I've been struggling with this software off and on for the last couple of years and finally realized it's not worth either the time or money I've spent on it. It has a variety of flaws, but here are the major ones: 1) The User Interface is Terrible: The software is Flash-based and the user inteface is totally non-intuitive, violating all of the basic user interface standards used by most Windows-based programs. Double-clicking on commands is not supported, and neither is the Enter key. Every selection requires at least two mouse clicks, making navigating the program a frustrating process. 2) Speech Recogition is Unrecognizable: This feature, which is one of the major selling points of the program, is a complete joke.
