I pre-ordered this game 6 days ago (5/9) and I'm still waiting on the email code for early download. I understand that the box will take a few days... but how long should it take to send me the promised email with the special game code??? I'm now at the borderline for missing the game launch - I should have ordered elsewhere.

On a G5 w/ Tiger no crashes, but a variety of problems with Word 2008 even after SP1: 1) The document map in a large document picks up lots of things NOT marked as headings, and changing styles does not help; after saving the rubbish is back in the map 2) End of page printout problems where some words or a line from the end of a page get repeated on the next page 3) Most annoyingly (and ever since the first "upgrade") a problem with "orphan" smart quotes, that is, opening quotes at the very end of a line and closing quotes as the first character of a line. 4) Justification problems with apostrophes; for example huge spaces forming between a word and 's (it ' s). This is a terrible product. I was unable to install it, despite hours on the phone with Microsoft support.

After using a traditional accounting package (A/R, A/P, G/L, etc) for 20 years, Quickbooks took some getting used to. Quickbooks is actually more complicated than our former software but it's ok. The main reason for our using it is the cost.

Photoshop Elements I've been using Photoshop for years and I like Photoshop Elements for quick, simple edits (I use Photoshop CS for more complex edits). There is a definite learning curve to be able to use some of the more complicated editing tools, but this is a very powerful package for the price. The photo organizational tools and the ability to create albums are also nice and easy to use features. Premiere Elements Save your money and buy a different product. I've been trying to create a 5 minute video of my 2 year old son for 2 weeks and I've had it with this product. AWESOME solution for running Win/Mac side by side. The "Unity" feature lets you run your windows programs as if they were running natively on the Mac...you can't tell the difference. You can customize how much of the processor you want to allocate to each machine. The only MINOR annoyances were with setting up windows to use some external equipment. Don't waste your money on Parallels....don't believe me? Buy both, then next week give Parallels to someone you don't like.

I've played many, many MMOs over the years and AoC has definitely provided some of the best synthesis of previous MMO gameplay and new and innovative gameplay. All of the classes are soloable and are more interactive and at minumum subtly different than classes in other MMOs. The graphics are beautiful, but I'm truly only rating the game high because of its well-thought out gameplay.
