This learning cd is filled with a whole series of attention grabbing games and knowledge boosting activities. The thinking process is definitely lit! Our kids adore this cd, work hard to get all their chores done to see who can play it first, and have come to love science even more. As long as you are willing to down load a patch, it works fine on Windows XP. For those who are sensitive to how human biology is covered, the part on human biology is done appropriately. There is a brief intro to what zygote formation is and that a zygote grows into a fetus, and they state that at 9 months the baby is born, but the cd does not go into any topics of human intimacy. I brought this program because I thought that it would give me detailed information concerning chemistry math which is what I was looking for and needed at the time. I did not find it to be very much help to me in the math section but was basically okay for the detailed chemistry section.

PhysicsTutor Excalibur is a great way to develop and test knowledge of basic concepts in physics, throughout high school and even in college. As a high school sophomore, I swore by ChemTutor Excalibur to help me prepare for chapter tests, midterms, and finals. Because of that experience, I thought of PhysicsTutor as a freshman at Yale taking advanced introductory physics courses. I think I was hoping for more from this program. I wish I could have veiwed it before I bought it. It's a little to basic. I am a nursing student and I was looking for a good review program with more information and a more interactive format.

I bought the last copy of this. No one has to be bothered with it any longer. Word of warning: if you start to upload any CD which wants to install something called Quick Time (it's a player like Flash) - stop right there, remove the CD, re-package the CD, and try to get your money back. I have no idea if Body Works is any good because once Quick Time installed, it wouldn't let me install the program I bought the CD for. The same thing happened with another CD I purchased (which I also want to review to provide the same warning to potential customers); once the Quick Time was installed (in the case of the second CD, it was already installed), I couldn't install the program I bought the CD for. So avoid anything that has Quick Time like the plague.

My daughter is 7 and really enjoyed the adventure. We have a mac and it played well. There were a few delays when loading/reading from the disk, but she enjoyed discovering all the elements and jewels throughout. there are age appropriate levels of difficulty. I would not buy it for someone any younger unless they are very precocious.

Terrible product. I wanted to used this to help me study for my anatomy class, but the software sucks. If I could, I would return it. Unfortunately after restocking fees it was more convenient to just leave it sittings on the shelf. Save your money and buy something else.
