One word...Outstanding. The WiLife system misses NOTHING...even a deer in the driveway at 3:45 am gets recorded. The system is easly expandable and I will be adding more cameras soon.

Picture quality, construction quality, Night Vision, and Field of Vision are all a letdown and I returned it right away. For the price, I suppose this is still a good "deal", but if you want an excellent quality Dome Camera with decent Night Vision, superb build quality, and a wide angle view look at the unit labeled "vandal proof dome camera", also from Amazon. It is more expensive, but has a VERY hefty and sturdy feel to it. Range of IR is greater and MUCH less granulated, resolution in daytime is fantastic, and one unit in the corner of a square room or backyard can cover nearly everything. This camera has a sensor that is 1/2 the size of the previous model (IK-WB11A) and it shows: The video quality never really escapes being pixelated, even at the highest resolution settings. Toshiba's rigamarole about it being a "Super (Honeycomb) CCD" sensor can't escape the fact that sensor size and number of pixels is the bottom line and the tiny sensor in this camera is a big step backwards. This camera also regrettably sheds wireless networking, but does have optical zoom and marginally faster responsiveness. However, if you're looking for really clear video, keep shopping. Haunt eBay for an old stock IK-WB11A and you'll probably be much happier. (Note: I have several 11A's and 15A's in use side by side.)

This device is easy to use and set up. Here's what I like: - Basically, it works - It's compact - The picture is clear - With the infra-red camera I got to go with it, it sees at night! - It works with up to four cameras (but you have to switch it between them - it won't scan) Here's what I don't like: - Reception is intermittent. The base unit appears to be VERY sensitive to orientation and proximity of other electronics. - Without the cradle, it's not very stable on a desktop - It comes with a cradle, but when it's in the cradle, the AC adapter doesn't work. For the pricing of these cameras I expected a little better picture. The overall picture is good, Night vision alright, but when it comes to details you can not even read a car plate 10 ft away. The motion sensor in this carmera works good also. I did try the lower priced camera(One Step Down) and did not like the picture at all. I wired and ran 8 cameras to my main computer using a Q-See PCI-E Card. After reseachering, to my amazement, that for the money this setup/cameras works good for home or business.

We decided to buy a video baby monitor as our little guy is a difficult sleeper. In "training" him to sleep we found we were constantly going in while we were supposed to be "letting him cry" because we would think of many reasons why he was crying- has he lost his soother? is his arm stuck in the rails? etc. We have had this monitor for almost 6 months now and it has been great. we were amazed when we first hooked it up with how well you could see when the room itself was pitch dark. in the daylight you can see color and in the dark it is black and white which is fine as we just were wanting to see what he was doing/if he was ok. the sound is a bit staticky but i wouldn't use it anyway as we can hear our son just fine when he cries. all of our phones are 2.4GHz and the only time they interfere with the monitor is when ... This product, which worked as good as can be for me, is a very ingenuitive way to save energy. With it; nothing stays on in my house when it doesn't need to be and that includes a lot of things that otherwise would be too far out of reach to consider, like a light in another room etc. It's puzzling why so many other people had trouble with these units but as I said mine is just fine

The card is as easy to install as any other. I run it under XP Pro on an old AMD AthlonXP and everything works just fine. The pack-in software is an incredible value--I wasn't expecting something as mature and polished. The software might be worth the purchase price of the card. I replaced a Lorex Time-Lapse VCR with this for less than the cost to repair the Lorex, and haven't looked back. I retain a month's worth of video at better quality than the VCR with no tape-juggling. Also, being able to keep an eye on my house from work with a browser is a very nice upgrade.

It works. This isn't really high-end cable (go figure by the price), but you don't need to buy Monster cable to run a security camera. Just don't yank on the cable when fishing it into an attic space or the wall. You'll tear a cable.
