I got the 40-150mm zoom to go with my E-520. While the depth of field is not as shallow and has less bokeh than I'd like, overall it's a very good lens. Compact, quick focusing, and very sharp. It would be nice to have a lower aperture, but that's not a realistic hope. Great bargain for the money.

This is a fantastic camera - I've had it for two weeks now and am extremely pleased at the ease of use and especially the quality of the photos. I bought it to use in the rains of London, when I head over there to visit my sister, but it has now become my daily carry camera and sees a lot more use than I initially expected.

I recently sold my Nikon Coolpix 8700, and was looking for a new camera that gave me picture quality equal to or better, and was a much smaller camera. I like taking pictures, but I'm not a photo guy. I basically want to aim, press the button and let the magic happen. Taking a chance I decided to try this camera, and I wasn't disappointed. It's got a lot of options to go beyond just auto mode if I want to dive into that. My main thing was the picture quality though and the quality of photos is excellent. I bought this camera at a grocery store a year ago as a substitute for the Olympus they had run out of and it had higher megapixels. So I used it last Xmas and the pictures in doors and out were okay but not remarkable. Then I went to an early season Yankees game this year (they won 1-0 vs Tampa Bay) and my 35mm had a suddenly dead battery, so this was all I had. Luckily I had sprung for a bigger memory card, even though it's xd instead of sd so it can't be used i9n many other cameras. And the pictures came out okay of monument park and the field, although I wish it had more than 3x zoom Plus, my computer has a slot for xd cards, so no harm done and Picasa seems to make everything look better than Vista. I purchased this camera 8 months ago. Still images are almost always blurry. The zoom quit working after just 4 months. The pictures come out grainy appearing, all no matter the setting. The flash works very poorly, as well, and you must be very close to your subject to have any effect. Also, there is a delay when you take a picture, of up to 4 seconds, so if you need a quick shot, it won't happen. I would not recommend this camera.

Wow, found this camera on Amazon for at least $40 cheaper than anywhere else, plus the peripherals (case, 4G card) were cheaper as well. The camera itself has a lot of functions, and I am a complete digital camera beginner. A little time learning the functions is helpful. For the most part with my limited knowledge I have gotten some really cool pics. My friend who knows more about them took pics of me and they came out great! Camera comes with software that's easy to use and upload pics. I have not yet used the video capture/Youtube feature, but apparently does up to 10 mins of vid. Pretty cool, well constructed little machine. Screen is pretty big too to view on. Very happy customer. Thanks Amazon!

We bought this as a replacement for an older version that didn't survive a dip in the sink (it was actually our fault and not the kids'!). I didn't want a camera with too many buttons and functions, as I use it to take pics of the kids and need to point and shoot quickly before I lose the shot. I haven't had any issues with the camera. It's worked wonderfully from day one. The change from replacing batteries to re-charging it was a great new feature, as was the simplification of the wheel (though I see they've gotten rid of it completely on the newest version). We're considdering this for a gift for my mil, who is hopelessly stuck on her film camera and has minimal computer skills.
