As another reviewer stated the audio in the movie mode is awful on this camera. Other than that it is a decent camera for the money. I am returning it for the poor audio as I'd like a camera that has everything work. (if it means paying more).

I just received my 55-200 VR lens. I shot some test photos of my lens resolution charts. I can't tell the difference in sharpness or contrast comparing the new nikon 55-200 with my 13-70 nikon lens and my 80-400 nikon VR. Its light yet feels good and solid. The vibration reduction works like a dream. I can't wait to try this baby in the field. I just might call in sick and work and head for the mountains.

Researched and researched cameras until I was researched OUT! Saw this little jewel and decided (based on other reviews) I should try it. SOOOOO glad I did! Human-friendly camera, easy to use, GREAT pics and just what else could you ask for? Oh yeah....was at a GREAT price. Got an HP camera a couple years ago, cost much more and wasn't anywhere as user-friendly as this one. Plus, it kept "eating" batteries so couldn't keep it working. Eveyone that has seen this one and the pics taken are astounded by them. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, easy to use camera that will delight you with beautiful results of your efforts....BUY THIS ONE!!!!

Takes the best pictures I've ever seen on a digital camera. Pictures are sharp and bright. An amazing product. Few drawbacks however as nothing is perfect although this one comes pretty close. Power plug is NOT included with the product; have to purchase that separately. Also, the power button is fairly weak and feels like it could fail any minute.

I was looking to upgrade over my point and shoot camera but did not want anything very big. At some point I may move into a "better" dSLR but for the time being I was looking for something that was not very expensive or big. Something simple with a basic lens just to see if I enjoyed having a dSLR. And having used this camera for a couple of months it was a good choice. I am now able to get photos without the delay in pressing the button which has worked well so far for me. Was able to get nice shots of my family over Thanksgiving without having to rely on people posing for the shots, more candid shots due to the speed. There may be some limitations but overall for the price/less pro dSLR I found it a good choice.

I got the Fuji film Z20fd so I don't have to carry my slr every where I go some times you just want a photo wean you hanging out in a bar or what ever and if I take my slr I have to carry it in my backpack Then I just cant put my back pack down some one can take it and this just fits in your pocket the only bad thing I have to say is that my fingers are to big for the buttons in the back and I am always pressing the wrong thing but that's just me over all its just a simple point and shoot if you looking for something simple then this is you camera if not just by a slr

I was very disppointed with the camera. The first picture I took at Thanksgiving was fine. When I tried to take a second picture, the camera froze on me. I had to repeatedly remove the battery to re-set the camera to take pictures. I plan on returning the camera.

This is a great camera by Sony, inside the price range you can get it. The photos are beautiful, with great definition and colors. It's not as slow as Sony cameras are heard to be considered, even when it's not light-fast. the only problems I see on it is that the LCD display, even when it's big and have good resolution, has a problem showing the real colors and brightness of the image, you it will take you a good time to learn how your real picture will look based on the one on the LCD. I have been taking pictures with all of the options of the camera and I still couldn't learn which one to choose. the other problem is that it's really hard to focus on close objects, even faces or solid objects. But, for the money you pay for this camera, it's overall an excellent camera.
