I had this camera for about two weeks no complains. is just a great camera. good picture quality. the video, is not the best maybe,average quality video. still have some red eye in some of the pictures. good quality for around $100 camera

Yes, It's 10MP, very clear. But, I also experienced the problem of some buzz with the button. And, it seems that I need to learn to deal with the weak light.

I got this camera and used it fairly infrequently before it suddenly refused to power on after only 6 months. So I sent it to get repaired and instead I get a refurbished camera two months later. Again I use it infrequently, about 3 times, over the next few months and now this one is doing the same thing, it won't power up no matter what. DO NOT BUY!!!

We bought this as a replacement for an older version that didn't survive a dip in the sink (it was actually our fault and not the kids'!). I didn't want a camera with too many buttons and functions, as I use it to take pics of the kids and need to point and shoot quickly before I lose the shot. I haven't had any issues with the camera. It's worked wonderfully from day one. The change from replacing batteries to re-charging it was a great new feature, as was the simplification of the wheel (though I see they've gotten rid of it completely on the newest version). We're considdering this for a gift for my mil, who is hopelessly stuck on her film camera and has minimal computer skills. Ok, this cam is very very good, it takes great pics but only when you are close to the person... I know, it only has 3X Zoom but I wasn't expecting it to be so poor!!! My cellphone (Nokia N73) take better pictures using zoom than the ones taken with my Camera!!! I couldn't believe it!!! In general the cam is great, it is totally user friendly and easy to set... but if zoom is something that matter to you consider buying something else!!!

My primary camera is al Nikon SLR. In many times, I don't want to carry a large camera at any event, but I want to take great photos at every time. For this reason, I purchased it. This camera has a largest CCD, 14MP, Lumix IA function, Image Stabilization, Leica Lens, new image processor, and other things. Results? Greats! Go ahead with this product. Cons: The HD video is .MOV. I don't know DVD players which read this format.

I used this camera for a short stop motion film and just personal picture taking, and it was great in both respects. It had enough features to allow me to customize the view of the stop motion and my friends are all addicted to taking personal photos in panorama now. One person was impressed that it stitches the panorama pictures together in the camera, but I don't know if that is unusual. So far it's wonderful, but sometimes when you turn it on it will say the batteries are exhausted and then when you switch the two batteries with each other you hae full battery, its the only problem I've had, but it doesn't bother me considering how cheap it was and how ell it works.

I was a bit wary about buying this camera because of the conflicting reviews that I read. But I decided to take a plunge because it looked really good and the pink color was just amazing. Anyway, this camera did not disappoint me. I loved the big screen, the big internal memory, and how user friendly it is. I never had to refer to the manual to know how to basically operate the camera. THe picture quality was also okay, just the way I expected it from a point and shoot camera. I loved the extra fun stuff in the camera: the in-cam retouch and painting, the cute borders, and how one can remove red eyes in the camera itself. Overall, as a beginner, I would say that this camera is excellent. I highly recommend it to beginners like myself.
