I had the exact same issue as photo AM Vlad below The biggest issue of the new DSC-W300 camera is its poor lens which is a root cause of all its quality problems. The thing is - you can not take a full-size 13.6 MP pictures. At most wide lens angle (1X) the actual picture's resolution is not equal from side to side: it is high in the center with a big degradation to the edges in both directions. when shooting in 16:9, the edges were completely distorted. My WSC-50 takes better pictures. Returned.

great memory stick for the price. with the 8gb being almost the same price as the 4gb, it's a no brainer as to which to buy. speed wise, for a psp, this runs just as well as the faster memory stick since PSP aren't the fastest loading machine on the market. For photo, i would recommend a fast chip if you're all nuts into taking huge pictures super fast. This works great for the average picture takers

Don't make the same mistake I did and buy this camera based on all the "great" reviews here. Most people writing reviews here are amateurs (since only an amateur would buy this camera) and don't realize just how awful this camera's images are. I bought this camera for my sister after insufficient research, only to be shockingly disappointed. The images are simply incredibly noisy, and Sony tries to cover up this massive shortfall by adding massive amount of digital "noise correction." What causes all this noise? This is simply a bad camera with a very insensitive CCD. In very bright light, you will see noise even in darker colors. I just purchased the DSC-H50 and I love it! Takes great pics indoors. My previous digital camera took pretty good pics outside, but indoor pics were always dark. This camera has so many features that it will take a while to get used to them.
