As a Sony advocate I applaud the Sony Alpha! Sharp pics! Flip screen is awesome! Move over Canon and Nikon ! I upgraded from a Sony F828 (which I still use! and it's in excellent like new condition and trouble free since the day it arrived). Sony stands behind their product! The only glitch with the alpha is the must purchase of a convertor which allows one to use MemorySticks. Personally, I feel that for the price of this camera Sony should include the adaptor.

It was good and it fits on my camera. But the actual color was ligher than the picture.

Very hard to find authentic rechargable NP-FT1 batteries on most sites. Most are knock-offs and do not last. Reliable site with authentic product.

The smile detection feature is what sealed the deal. Its a great camera. The only warning is it holds 4 pictures without a memory card. I DID find an 8G memory stick duo for like $22 online so that should make it hold about 2k pics. I didn't find the ISO pics to be too blurry... but I'm not a professional photog, just a mom :) Anyhow, great camera, great pics. I recommend it based on the value.

There are a ton of cheaper digital picture frames from all sorts of companies I never heard of, but you can always count on Sony. Somewhat more expensive for it's size, but it works perfectly right out of the box. There are a few poor reviews here that claim pictures that have been edited don't work, but that's not my experience. I exported a couple of hundred images from Lightroom 2.0 to an SD card, plugged it into the frame, and they display perfectly. The display is bright and sharp with nice accurate color. The images I used were originally high-resolution scans of slides (from a Nikon film scanner). All have been cropped and adjusted in Lightroom, and some touched up further in Photoshop CS3. Don't make the same mistake I did and buy this camera based on all the "great" reviews here. Most people writing reviews here are amateurs (since only an amateur would buy this camera) and don't realize just how awful this camera's images are. I bought this camera for my sister after insufficient research, only to be shockingly disappointed. The images are simply incredibly noisy, and Sony tries to cover up this massive shortfall by adding massive amount of digital "noise correction." What causes all this noise? This is simply a bad camera with a very insensitive CCD. In very bright light, you will see noise even in darker colors. In medium light or with a flash, you will see noise in all shades except whites and the brightest colors. This is how most of your pictures ... Read More

I found that by using the 0737C lens the picture or photo's resolution reduced greatly.
