I got this camcorder wearily because I wasn't sure how good it would be. It's a LOT better than I expected. I love the video quality and am not finding much difference between the high and web qualities. It's so light, small and portable! I am a counseling student and I am going to use this to tape my practice and it's perfect! It's also easy to write to DVDs and upload online. I'll post a video review shortly. The two bad things about it are: I am worried about the USB dongle breaking... hopefully it'll stay put! And the still photos are pretty bad but I did not get it for that purpose.

the camera looks nice, has a full size seperate SD card and a large viewing screen, and uses AA batteries..all these are pros. the cons are, the video is very inferior compared to the flip (we bought both the rca ez210, ez205 AND FLIP ULTRA). the ez210 has slightly better video than it's smaller version the ez205...but still is fairly blurry, unable to see deatails the flip has no problem with. e.g. i video-ed a phone book ad and the flip was easily read but both rca's you could not read the printing...colors on the rca are washed out compared to the flip, and the rca does not nearly as well in low light and gets washed out in brighter colors, especially if there is any difference in gradients...my wife's face was washed out when the light from the outside window was on her, not ... I switch around my set up alot I got this switcher because it was a 4 way in put and I have 4 things to input. Problems kept comming up and It did work however the picture was blurry on the edges. I had to position it when it did work so the video signals would go through. Finally after trying to plug in a new cable it just stopped outputting video and nothing I could do would fix it. It's complete garbage and now I have no idea what switcher I need.

Must say, almost every DVD disk played from the old DVD collection in the RCA resulted in a crystal clear picture. Yet, some down sides ... operation is slow and menu choices poor ... but a small price to pay for such a quality outstanding picture. I must say that this is not the most solid device I have ever purchased, and the load and finalizing time is a bit long. But for the price and size this is a great dvd recorder. I do not understand the other reviews on this product not working. I pulled the device out of the box, plugged the wires into my TV and into my camera and boom, I was recording DVDs. I can only assume they had there wires crossed. the interface is straight forward and the record quality is good. If you have space restraints, like me, this is a good option. If you have the space for a larger unit then I would go that route.
