Negative: shutter lag is pretty serious, but if you have the right settings, it gets better. Takes some time to figure out. Also it appears to be better when more memory is available. Positive: durability! I agree that the durability of this camera is nothing short of incredible. This camera can really be handled roughly, which is great. I took it on our honeymoon, snorkeling and had NO problems like the ones stated in the previous reviews. it was in the water for hours at a time, on the beach and jostled around in my beach bag and each time came out fighting. For being an f/2 lens, I was really shocked at the length of time it took to focus. When it does lock on the images are sharp and bright, but beware if you are shooting anything "live" you may miss it!

The battery charger and the batteries are not good. They leaked in my camera and thank god I noticed it early! It is cheap, but you shouldn't expect it to last!! The only thing I ultimately ended using regularly was the carrying bag. the rest, useless!

This battery pack works great with my 560-UZ. They last much longer than standard AA's. I use this for my sons football games and the re-chargeable batteries last the whole game and much longer. I don't have to worry about missing a play while trying to change the batteries anymore.

I read the other reviews and they are right. For the price, these are great and they do not weigh to much. I am small and that was a concern of mine. I did not want to have the binoculars on a tripod all the time & these work pefect to star gaze or nature watch.

Great value for a compact binocular. Excellent image quality. Its very light and compact and has neoprene case. It has diopeter plus eye relief with twist out eye cups. Wish it had slimmer profile but love the UV high quality lens!
