The Olympus 1200 camera takes great photos right out of the box and will take spectacular photographs after applying the knowledge found in it's easy to read manual. Even without the manual and using only the easy onboard guide that the camera presents, your photos will be sharp and clear. It's my opinion that those that have posted a negative response to this camera have left their posts prior to owning the camera for any length of time and learning its easy features. In an earlier review someone stated that even a baby can use it. I won't say a baby can use it, but I know for a fact that a five-year-old was able to take super photos, and we have the prints to prove it. It wasn't clear in the description of the camera that a charger came with it. I ordered one separately that I sent back. The company was great about it. The charger works fine.

I bought the Olympus FE-350 because I needed a wider lense than the typical point-and-shoot camera. I was not disappointed. The FE-350 is easy to use and provides great pictures. I gave the camera a rating of four stars because I need to be able to create panoramas and the Olympus Master software provided with the camera doesn't do that great of a job stitching photos together. I have been getting better results from other photo software using the same pictures. So,the problem isn't all in the pictures I have been taking. However, the camera yields excellent results in the photos and is easy to use. The camera is a steal for the price.

The size of the camera is great and easy to use; I was happy with my purchase the only thing is that the quality of the image in the picture is not perfect. Not bad for the price.

These are great. I have no negative things to say about them. Of course, they are inexpensive and thus housed in a cheap flimsy box, but that is not a real problem for me.

This camera is small enough that I carry it right in my purse and have it with me at all times. Takes great pictures. The most important function for me is that it has the Image Stabilization.

This replaced my Olympus Stylus 710 that was dropped 1 too many times in the 2.5 years I owned it. During those 2.5 years it had traveled all over North American and to 3 other continents and served me very well. Very small, very easy to use, tons of features and settings yet easy to just point and shoot (which is largely how I use it). The benefits of the Stylus 840 over the older camera are more optical zoom, larger lcd, and more megapixels (though for my purposes, ~6 MP is more than enough; picts with this at the highest setting are close to 2MB). There are a few other nice new touches too. Biggest draw back? Olympus dropped the All-weather protection which is VERY disappointing and why went with Olympus in the first place. The Olympus 1030SW is a great camera, but with it's flat profile the LCD is likely to be scratched if the camera is placed down somewhere. I can also see that the lens may be scratched as well. This silicon cover fits like a glove and provides the extra cushion to help prevent scratching. It takes a minute to get used to since the dial is now 3/4 covered, but the buttons are just as easy to use and are still visible through the cover. I was worried how the cover would handle water (since this is an underwater camera) but I have had no drawbacks with using the cover with the camera underwater. The only problems I have with it is that the cover also covers the USB port and the battery/media card compartment. A minor inconvinience though. Would highly recommend this ... Read More
