I used this UFL-1 flash with my Olympus 770SW camera extensively underwater. If the TTL signal from the camera reaches the flash, it works great. However, as I was not using the Olympus mount, to make the camera manageable while SCUBA diving, it was very difficult to know when the camera and the flash were lined up. Also, the red light seems to be on all the time if the flash is on. This is deceptive, since you don't know if it still recharging from the last photo, or ready.

Actually I have a Casio camera and the underwater case and could not find anywhere spare parts (silica) for my case, so I found the Olympus one, which fits well to the Casio case. The only issue is that this is a quite expensive product. It is just silica, which comes from free in most products and Adorama has charged it as it was gold.

I was given this camera as a Christmas gift last year. It took good quality photos at the time(not the best at enlargement but good for computer use, and 5x7 photo prints), it was compact, and easily portable. At Thanksgiving this year (So about 11 months after I received it), I took it down off the shelf to take photos, but all of the photos had horizontal lines through them. I switched the battery, tried new memory, and it was still having problems. I searched online and found that I definitely wasn't the only one. I purchased this camera for vacations on the water and the ability to take shots in rainy weather. It is indeed waterproof and durable, however the shutter lag makes it very frustrating when photographing children. I have a lot of just missed shots because of the delay. Once taken, the colors seem very vibrant. Once again it is Ok but not great.

The cleaning cloth, screen protectors, lens cleaning kit and tabletop mini tripod are very useful and good to have, particularly for a new photographer. The battery is NOT AN OLYMPUS PRODUCT. I would still have ordered the kit, but I would like to have known this before placing my order.

I started having problems with this camera within days of the warranty expiring. The memory card I had for it was an Olympus one, and fully compatible with the camera, and I had been using it with no problems for almost 12 months. Not great protection but a very useful camera bag to have around. Holds camera and a couple of lenses, extra memory card as well as extra battery and battery charger.

This eyecup works very well for the glasses wearer. It is well made, and not too expensive. The only problem is in the detent design. It is easy to knock off in the field. I have lost two in six months.
