I bought this camera to take pictures of my sons playing baseball and for our little league year book. It is easy to use and has features that help me to get the shots that I need. The sports setting takes shots without a delay, and by holding down the button, I can get multiple shots so that I don't have to try to time out the play at home plate in order to get the shot. I have been very pleased with the results.

I just got this camera this week and I love it. Pros: The screen is quite viewable in bright sunlight. Dual memory support gives you a choice on which media to buy. (I'm using a Class 6 4GB micro SDHC card). 5x optical zoom (the largest I've seen in this size and price range.) The iAuto is pretty smart. The camera is easy to figure out and use. Cons: I'd like to turn off the image preview that comes up right after you take a picture. I took a load of photos with the 70-300 Zuiko lens... and I am very happy with the outcome. Of course, like any telephoto it is a light lover and works best in bright sunlight. Thanks to this powerful telephoto I photographed a very interesting new world of distant objects and creatures. Above 200mm it really prefers a tripod or something to steady the camera. Overall, for the money it is fine-- real bargain.

Negative: shutter lag is pretty serious, but if you have the right settings, it gets better. Takes some time to figure out. Also it appears to be better when more memory is available. Positive: durability! I agree that the durability of this camera is nothing short of incredible. This camera can really be handled roughly, which is great. I took it on our honeymoon, snorkeling and had NO problems like the ones stated in the previous reviews. it was in the water for hours at a time, on the beach and jostled around in my beach bag and each time came out fighting.
