I have been using Olympus 4/3 equipment since the advent of the E-1. I thought that the 2X teleconverter would be a nice addition to my lenses. Using my 50-200 mm zoom I was disappointed that the otherwise amazingly sharp lens became very soft wide open (f7) with the teleconverter. By upping to f11 the image sharpened and useable. Of course, I was hoping for a quick and dirty way to get a truly super-telephoto lens but it was not to be. i think that it was my expectation rather than the lens performance which was at fault here but none-the-less I thought it would be worthwhile to post this review to advise others that the combination of the 2x and the 50-200mm has some problems. The PC III has excellent optics considering its under $25 cost. Focuses smoothly and without distortion. Crystal clear image. Very easy-to-use.

This is so nice, being able to find the battery she needed for her camera. My daughter bought a camera and had to buy a charger and battery. But after awhile, the battery is no longer holding a charge. She just needed to find a new battery. There is nobody around us that had any. The prices on Amazon are so great she got some to spare. Now she is back to taking lots of pictures.

My husband and I bought this for our Olympus 770SW for our honeymoon to Hawaii. This floating strap was fabulous. If you let go of the camera in the water it will float with this strap attached! The fit is weird b/c it doesn't tighten around your wrist, but will tighten around your bicep, which is a much more comfortable position for swimming. You just have to slide it down to take pictures. I highly recommend this product if you will be taking your camera in the water (or a boat for that matter, if dropped off the boat, it floats and can be recovered).

This replaced my Olympus Stylus 710 that was dropped 1 too many times in the 2.5 years I owned it. During those 2.5 years it had traveled all over North American and to 3 other continents and served me very well. Very small, very easy to use, tons of features and settings yet easy to just point and shoot (which is largely how I use it). The benefits of the Stylus 840 over the older camera are more optical zoom, larger lcd, and more megapixels (though for my purposes, ~6 MP is more than enough; picts with this at the highest setting are close to 2MB). Only remove the Memory Card in you camera when you have to as their is a finite amount insertions and removals specified in the lifetime of any Memory card, not to mention it could be forgotten in the reader and or damaged while outside the reader or camera. Purchasing the AC Adapter C7AU was one of the best puchases I have made as I have two Olympus Digital Cameras, the C4040UZ and my newer model SP570UZ (Absolutely love both of them) but downloading pictures drains the batteries quickly and sometimes I have forgotten to turn the camera off after downloading resulting in lost shot opportunities. This camera has no audio so every video that I've recorded has NO SOUND!!! That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard (NO PUN INTENDED!). What's the point of having the movie feature if there's no microphone to record the sound??!! I recorded my daughter's 3 rd birthday and I'm absolutely upset that there is no way for me to recapture any of those moments. Buy a different camera. AND the only way to take pictures is by using the screen so the battery has to be recharged frequently.
