Q-See QPSCDCA Professional Indoor CCD Camera w/Audio (Color)very nice camera much smaller then i thought it would be by looking at the picture,it has a good tight camera mount very sharp and clear color picture that you can adjust with the 3.5 to 8 mm lens for close or far, it doesnt have a realy wide angle lens as i hoped it would have but its close to what i was looking for,it has audio which is nice, the camera is good enought for makeing home movies if you wanted to,does pretty good in low light.it is a indoor cam for dry areas.comes with a 60 ft power/video/audio cable,power supply that comes with it looks cheap,but the camera has a aluminum main body and seems to be high quality over all.

This cable worked fine. The only problem is that the color of the cable was received as white and not black.

I purchased one of these QSD360 cameras to install as part of an outdoor surveillance system however Amazon's product description is misleading - this camera came labeled with a large sticker that states "Indoor" yet Amazon markets this item as an "outdoor" camera. Further, the item's packaging states that this camera has a 3mm-9mm lens (not 3.5-8 as Amazon lists) and the minimum illumination level is stated to be 0.5Lux (not 0.1 Lux). It's also supposed to output 480 TVL resolution however after side-by-side testing, I've found that this camera's image quality is not as high as other Q-see cameras that are rated only at 420TVL (namely the Q-See QS2350C Weatherproof Color CCD Camera Kit With Built-in Heat Circulating Blower). I've used QSee products before. This one had to replace a burned out camera. Out of the box I plugged it in and it worked. I had to readjust the focus and zoom, but that wasn't an issue. Be aware that like any lower cost camera, these don't always last for years and years. This one replaced the same model that was in use for about 18 months. This one is still working though.

You go to www.q-see.com and select standalone DVRs, select this model, and go to firmware, download the .zip file, unzip it and put the 3 Megabyte firmware file on a USB memory stick by itself. Plug that stick in the back of your Q-See QSC26416 and select the menu -> Utilities -> upgrade firmware and select from USB stick. It takes 3 minutes to do it and then you must reboot. When done you have a totally new look and feel to the internet browsers.
