What can I say, works great like it was designed to. Can't compare to the generic units out there but why would you skimp on a battery grip when you just spent $2500 on a camera like the 5d at the risk of a generic grip shorting out your camera and Canon won't warrant it.

The canon cable made a tremendous difference in the quality of the video when showing my home videos directly from my Canon HG10 vdeo camera to my high def television. The reolution on the video is as crisp and clear and colorful as anything that is shown from the studio in high definition. The cable was $10 cheaper buying it from Amazon rather than Canon direct. If you are looking for excellent quality videos from you Canon video camera, it is worth the cost.

I do a lot of building photography with a tripod and a small level on the tripod. It was still difficult to get all pictures exactly level both vertically and hortizontally. With the new focusing screen, my problem is solved. It was a little tedious to install since I had never done it before and had never looked inside of the camera before but it is within capabilities of a newbie. Directions could be a little more detailed. Just be careful to use the installation tool and not touch the screen with your hands. Canon should include this screen with the camera.

The Canon iP3500 is an impressive document printer and I'm pleased with that function. However pictures printed using the Picasa program and the iP3500 appear badly over-exposed and washed of color. I called Canon and the check-outs they had me perform were all good. Their view was that the problem was with Picasa. As a test I printed the same picture using the Easy Photo-Print EX program supplied by Canon and using Picasa. Pictures printed on the iP3500 using EX were very good. The same picture printed on the iP3500 using Picasa appeared washed out as earlier decribed. I repeated that test using an HP 5940 and the pictures from the EX and Picasa programs were equal and good. I don't have any other photo programs to use for a similar comparison ... Read More

This is a good lens for all around shooting, especially outside. It does well in bright light but blurs badly in low light. With a tripod it does OK but this would not be my recommendation for inside or low light shooting without a flash. However for an all around carry lens at a reasonable price this is great. the zoom range makes it really nice.

I bought the kit, and was pleased with everything but the camera bag. Pros: The rebel xs is simply an underrated D SLR...thank GOD for this as I got it at a very good price. The XS is a very quick cam, great entry level pro cam pics. Auto mode is fantastic, Manual mode is awesome. Live view is incredible, not actually great for moving shots, but o.k. in that use, but it's an amazing feature, works almost exactly like on a point and shoot, but not exactly.(meaning you see clearly on the lcd, but it focuses slower, and pans slower, it shuts off when you half press the shutter to allow the camea to do the rest. The view finder is fabulous, clean clear, represents the lens perfectly 2. 8GB transcend card is really a high speed card, no problems whatsoever. ... Read More
