This was a great value and the case is well made, the camera cord is sturdy and easy to fit into a pocket or purse. This was bought for a teenager who is rough on their electronics and it has stood up very well.

The hood has good quality but too expensive. The filters seem cheap but the UV filter does not do what it suppose to do.

Bought this for a trip to Hawaii along with the Canon SD790IS camera. The camera has some unique configuration hardware making it highly configurable, but maybe more complicated than an amateur would expect. The casing has the ability to access all the configurations, but I didn't figure them all out. I just set the camera how I wanted to use it first, then put it in the case. The underwater images were okay, but nothing to write home about (backscatter on shots in caves, blue tint is reduced, but not eliminated, LCD screen was hard to see clearly underwater). I still think it's a good casing and in time I'll probably learn to use it and the camera more effectively.

Quality product! I think the price was a little high considering its just a case. I've used it 5 times taking it to 93 feet at the deepest and not a drop of water or condensation inside. It would be nice if I could read what buttons are for what on the back of the case but the letters are clear and its hard to see underwater. My camera is new too so I'm not totally familiar with the buttons yet.
