Not a bad lens hood. I like the connection to the lens barrel makes it quick to install or remove. A tad flimsy compared to other lens hoods, but unless it takes a fiar impact it should suffice.

While attending an astronomy club's night out, one of the members offered to show me a globular cluster using his image stabilized binoculars (brand unknown). As I brought the portion of sky into focus, I pressed the button and -- WOW! I could clearly see the cluster, not because it was highly magnified, but because my eyes had a chance to focus and process the image. Thoroughly impressed, I walked over to my wife and told her of the experience. A few weeks later, we had a pair of 12x36 Canons, and were counting the moons of Jupiter. My wife wanted her own pair so we would not have to readjust them when sharing. Took this case diving the other day, takes fantastic pictures and worked great to 100 feet. Didn't try any deeper. One big flaw. Because the housing extends forward around the barrel of the camera, the bottom right hand one third of your picture does not get exposed to the flash. Not a real big deal because the camera takes pretty good pictures without the flash even at 70 feet, but if you're looking to do any serious underwater flash photography, I'd recommend an external strobe. Bottom line, though, it kept the camera dry and almost all the controls are accessible. I was pleased.

It's amazing that a little round tube of plastic can cost so much. But, it fits my Canon 60mm lens perfectly and does what it's supposed to.

My first Macro lens on the Xti -- I am loving using it so far. The picture clarity is as sharp as can be, lovely background blur, great color. Its a simple lens for a simple job and beyond it also doubles as a pretty great portrait lens.

Perfect match to the camera, but the eye cup keeps falling off. I have a difficult time keeping it locked on, especially when taking in and out of the bag on the fly. Other than that, it is perfect.

I just needed a camera for fun..and I have had a Canon before. I didn't like that my old one had a rechargeable battery that didn't last long so I am really happy to find one like my old one that is a million times better in quality and it takes real batteries that LAST!! I LOVE IT!! Takes great pictures and it's super easy to use...comparing it to my old one (which was an Elph), it takes much faster pictures although you do have to hold the shutter button down to take a picture which is annoying to have to tell other people using it. Overall I highly reccommend it..takes great pictures!!!

I've had my Canon Rebel for a couple years now and it takes fabulous pictures. The difference is amazing from basic digital cameras. Highly recommend this camera.
