I bought one of these web cams for myself and 3 more for Christmas gifts for relatives. No one has been able to download to Vista operating system. I "googled" my problem and found that there were dozens of people who were receiving the same error notice and most were unable to resolve the problem. Several people had problems but found solutions. They offered several solutions which I, and numerous other googlers tried, but did not work for us. Do not buy this product until Logitech and/or Vista os gets the bugs out.

This is possibly the best mouse I have ever bought. I love the way it fits in my hand and the nano receiver is just the best. No more unplugging the receiver to put the laptop in it's bag!! Highly recommended!

I had this product on my wishlist, and my parents bought it for me for xmas. They also got one for themselves, so I was able to see and talk to them for xmas, even though I couldn't make it home. :) I've also had a video chat with my aunt and uncle. It was great to be able to see someone I'm talking to, who's 2500 miles away. :)

Although this product is not officially supported on Macs, it does work as long as you have 10.4.something or higher. You just plug it in, and it works. Skype picked it up and started working. It doesn't allow all of the features, cause there is no Logitech supported software for this camera on the mac. But it will work as a basic camera and microphone right out of the box. :) The lack of Logitech support for the Mac in general is why this lost 1 ... Read More

This is easy to use and easy to set up. I have not taken photos but it broadcasts reasonably well over the web. We had ours for a few months now. The setup was easy (Yahoo Messenger was a little more cumbersome) and it has worked so well that this purchase was for my in-laws.

This mouse is a five-star product. Enough said. Do not be misled by always superior geeks. Elsewhere, one writes: I found the mouse to be overly sensitive, even after changing the mouse configurations in Control Panel. The Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 is more precise,he/she writes and concludes: The Logitech v220 is a little bit more ergonomic on the hands, but not by much Well, I use it for my traveling laptop and most recently I have attached it to my new mini-mini-mini-laptop, my baby-computer. It works great. If its receiver slightly sticks out from your USB port, well, everything will. Only gadgets with Bluetooth technology will not. BTW, I use a small USB hub, flexible; to it is attached this mouse AND also my wireless/national broadband USB modem (phone card.)

This is a good webcam, for windows. If you research this product you'll find that it is supported in Linux. However, Logitech updated this camera and if you type "lsusb" in the terminal for this product you will see "ID 046d:08dd Logitech, Inc.". If you google this you'll find that no appropriate drivers are available. Do yourself a favor and do more research if trying to find a webcam for Linux. You'll save yourself;
1. A couple of hours of time.
2. Some money.
3. A massive Linux hardware headache!

My purpose for this 2.1 system is for listing to my ipod while on the PC and maybe an occasional movie on the pc. So I am bout 2 - 3 feet from all speakers. They are PC speakers, I would not recomend for a home theater or to fill a room large room. I was amazed by how clear the sound is and how loud it goes without distorting. I also liked that you can adjust the volume of the base to your liking. The base sounds great and really adds for a fuller sound. For those people who said there is no base, return it because there is something wrong w/ it. I have the sub under my desk and only have it set at half volume. When I turn it up it shakes my desk and is not distorted, popping, buzzing or humming. The Ipod dock works and sounds great w/ my ipod nano.
Pros:
Cheap - Good looking!

Logitech makes great products. I have used this keyboard for 4+ months with no complaints. It has ergonomically designed keys that match the varying lengths and reach of your fingertips. It has a good "tactile" feel for the keys, and an excellent "built-in" wrist rest It also has a great assortment of macro keys which allow instant access to volume, CD/DVDs, digital camera, page zoom in-out, and page cascade.(I am not using the mouse that came in this combo only because I already had a good mouse. It too is a Logitech product.)

This product, including shipping, was $32 less than Office Depot's best sale price, and less than half what Best buy was charging for it!!!!!

If you're a serious typist, don't waste $10 - $20 on a keyboard. Get a good keyboard. Your fingers, wrists, and ... Read More

A nice printer. You take it out of the box and hook it up and print. I chose to set this up via USB and Airport using it as a Bonjour printer. HP forgot to include the setup poster but there were no surprises. Printer is fast and the color is OK. For the price this is a good value and does what it is advertised to do. BTW 4 clicks of the Mouse to set this up on my HP laptop running 64 bit Vista for wireless printing. That is worth the price of the printer. Steve Jobs done good on the Bonjour software and Vista. I did not elect to use any of the included HP software, just used what was already on OS X Leopard and Vista.
