I purchased these for my Canon Powershot A710 and as a complete amateur, I found that they were to my liking and are great for the price I paid. I still have some learning to do, like learning how to deal with some shadows on the corners from the lenses, but they are easy to crop out. ETA: After toying a bit more with these lenses, it turns out that I have to zoom in as much as possible on my camera in order to block out any of the inner black rims of the lens. While this is fine for the telephoto lens, it's not appropriate for the wide angle lens. That defeats the whole purpose! I do like the filters very much though.
