The Celestron Sky Maps make a good adjuct to he SkyScout. They help you with a broader view of the sky in your area and give you a basis to search for objects more easily with the hand held. They "glow" in the dark to make there use on a dark night easier. They can be used alone and replaced older and less user friendly maps I had.

The product seems to work just fine. I give it 4 stars instead of five because I think it is quite overpriced for being just a little piece of plastic. I paid the money anyway after reading bad reviews regarding the quality of the cheaper third party remote switches. I will consider the money well worth it if the canon model lasts a long time. We'll see. Also, the cord is quite short...kind of a pain if you're trying to get away from the camera at all.

The product works great. The only down fall with this is the cord isn't very long. But other then that it works great.

For this price, this set of lenses and filters is a VERY good buy. Haven't used the filters as much, but all the lenses are pretty neat. The Aluminum case is very compact and has a good feel to it. I'm an amateur star-gazer, and this was my first buy after purchasing the telescope. Next on the list is a solar filter. Highly recommend this.

I have only had the TC80N3 remote for a short time but it has proven to be invaluable. I have read other reviews complaining that the buttons are too small but I personally have not had any issues, and I have big fingers. There are multiple combinations for timing and delay that I haven't even touch yet but it has functioned as advertised. The only(minor)downside is the lack of a power button to turn the device off but that is easily corrected by opening the battery tray.
