I find that the Kodak battery packs stay charged MUCH longer than regular batteries. This was purchased as a replacement for my old worn out battery pack, and I'm very pleased with it.

I charged my batteries, but haven't had a chance to see if they're working yet. (My other batteries ares till good, but I wanted to make sure that the charger worked before the 30 days were up. The charger seems to work quickly, and the lights were operational. I like that the Kodak K4500-C+1 takes the guess work out of battery charging!

Purchased the docking kit when I realized our new Kodak camera didn't come with a rechargable battery (Duh on my part!) Great all around package, with the included rechargable battery, charging is so easy - just park the camera on top of the dock, and walk away - it's that easy. A handy feature is the discharge action - the new Li batterries, as well as old NiCads could/should be completely run down every now and then. With this unit, again - set it and walk away. It'll completely discharge, and then fully charges the battery. It'll plug into either our computers and/or printers and makes downloading pictures a snap too. We purchased this dock as an accessory for our Z1015is camera. Still pictures play back beautifully but videos have "green noise". On further research, I find that Kodak no longer lists our camera as compatible with this dock (although it was initially listed as compatible). Unfortunately, we purchased this thru an Amazon Marketplace vendor. We were told we could return the dock and they would evaluate for a "possible refund" but we would not be reinbursed for the initial shipping charges or for the returned shipping. I have been very pleased with all of my previous Amazon purchases and believe me there have been a lot of them! This battery seems to work as advertised. After a recent vacation trip, I returned home without my Kodak DX6490's charging dock, power adapter, and spare battery, so this was a replacement for the spare battery. When I received this new battery, I realized that it has a lower power capacity (1050mAh) than the battery that came with this camera (1700mAh), and thus has a thinner profile, but the camera accepts it just fine. If I had checked my camera's existing battery beforehand, I probably would have looked for one with the same power rating, but 1050mAh is probably sufficient for my purposes.
