I have 3 kids & for each ones 5th birthday, they wanted a camera. I ended up getting 3 versions of this Easyshare & all have past my expectations for such a thing. It's cheap, it has better quality than a "real" kids camera (Fisher Price), & they're holding up well! Our oldest one is 4 yrs. old & is still as good as new even though it's been played with by all three of my children. And, as they were bought for my kids, they've taken quite a bit of abuse as well & they all worked perfectly. I'd recommend this camera for anyone who wants to get a kid started in the world of photography. I gave it 4 stars because indoor pics can tend to be rather grainy, but what do you expect for $80? I purchased this frame because I read it had better resolution than others that were cheaper. I am very impressed--it delivers. It also has very easy photo transfers and offers an array of options that are useful. The cons (and they are minimal) are that the arm that holds the frame upright could be a little longer. And the remote is not intuitive to use--guess I'll have to break down and read the manual. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was excited when I purchased this camera.. 12 megapixels, optical zoom! I bought it in September 2007. And it was treated so very well..no dropping, no nothing, hardly used it.. In September 2008, it started to freeze and die. Fresh batteries didn't help. Sometimes it turned on, sometimes not. Now it is permanently opened..the lens extended..and it will not turn on. I had to buy a new camera in October (Nikon- I didn't make the same mistake twice) so I could take photos on my trip to see family. I wrote several detailed emails to Kodak. They just recommended new batteries and other nonhelpful thoughts. Now I can't use the camera. Should I toss it, repair it? I find that the Kodak battery packs stay charged MUCH longer than regular batteries. This was purchased as a replacement for my old worn out battery pack, and I'm very pleased with it.

The camera would not work and then I realized it was because the battery was not charging. When I contacted the seller, they told me the battery did not work and that I had to buy a new one. Why sell me a camera with a non-functioning battery? They could have simply written in the description that a new battery would need to be bought. I would have never purchased it!

I charged my batteries, but haven't had a chance to see if they're working yet. (My other batteries ares till good, but I wanted to make sure that the charger worked before the 30 days were up. The charger seems to work quickly, and the lights were operational. I like that the Kodak K4500-C+1 takes the guess work out of battery charging!

I'm loving my new compact camera that fits so easily into my purse. The battery life is great, the 3" LCD screen is fabulous and with Smart Capture I just have to point and shoot !! My friends have all seen it and want one now too !!! I am definitely glad I chose to buy another Kodak !
