I bought this memory from a vendor at Amazon. I had some issues with the memory from the beginning, but you know how it goes, I let time pass. After I finally got around contacting the vendor, they refuse to help me saying that the warranty with them had elapsed. So, I contacted Kingston. They were curious about the behavior of my memory and they asked me to sent it to them. I was counterfeit. Even the color of the stick did not match the color of their 2 GB!! (should be lime, it was purple). Kingston asked me for all the paperwork about this purchase, which I did. They in turn sent me a Real Kingston Data Traveler 2 GB USB Drive. I have not had any problems with the real flash drive.

I had a little trouble with the software at first but after playing around with it I found you need to put the usb into the keychain and then open the software. This keychain is worth the 75 points I like that it has a slideshow option too. I wish that it had a cover though, I like putting my keychains on my purse or all on one ring and I'm afraid that it will get messed up. All in all I like it :)

Ordered 12 days with regular shipping before my trip but arrived late. It took more than 16 days for delivering an in-stock item within California. I suspect they deliberately hold an order for any regular shipping method.

Tried other off Brand (generic) inks and always had problems. Canon Inks work always in their products.

It just works great. So much better than running back and forth to shoot with a timer. Also great for eliminating camera shake on tripod or long exposures. If your DSLR works with this remote, it is a must have. Most problems mentioned by some reviewers seem to me to be the issue with camera. I use it with D40. And though I wish it was more powerful, it works great. I've even used it across a small street from the camera. Plus, D40 gives some options to users how we want to use the remote. In the main menu you can set the "Remote On Duration" to 1, 5, 10 or 15 min. And when you want to turn it on, you press the "Fn" button in the front(with the timer symbol) right under the button for flash. As you hold the button down, turn the Command Dial on the back.
