I took a look at this product in a store prior to purchasing it. There is no way the orange band would cinch around my wrist. Even getting it to stay on my upper arm was a challenge, and that was just on dry land. I'm sure things would loosen up further in the water.

I didn't get to test whether or not it floats. Assuming it floats and gets your camera to float with it, I would recommend buying this only if you have large hand/wrist OR if you have a separate, tighter wrist band to secure your camera to your wrist.

I took my olympus stylus 1030 to Lake Powell for a week and I guarantee I would have dropped my camera playing with it in the water. This worked better than I was expecting. I read a couple reviews about similar products that didn't float cameras and was kind of worried. Well I don't have anything to be worried about now. I could throw the camera off the house boat into the water and it would stay right on the top, not really ever going under the water at all. I would also leave the camera in the water for up to 2 hours while swimming and it never absorbed water like other people stated. Mine just kept floating like it said it would. When I am not by water I replace this strap with the normal one that came with the camera because this is way too bulky for everyday use. I would recommend ... Read More

I bought this meter because I bought a manual focus lens for my Nikon D50. This camera body does not meter with the old manual lenses. After a week of using it, I can say it performs well. It offers incident and reflected measurements. However, to switch from incident to reflected, you have to take off the lumisphere and mount the lumigrid. It offers shutter and aperture priority modes. I prefer aperture priority-choose an aperture, and the meter selects a shutter speed. You can choose 2 ISO settings. The meter will stay on ISO 1 until you push ISO 2 for a brief reading. When you let go of the ISO 2 button, it goes back to ISO 1.

The Sekonic L-358 also does flash metering(reflected and incident). This is helpful to me because my D50 will not do TTL flash with my older flash ... Read More

5.Canon E1 - Hand strap from: Canon
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Photo : Canon E1 - Hand strap
It's not a cheap hand strap since it carries the CANON logo. I bought two of these & used them on my 5D & 40D. Adjusting the length on initial installation is a bit hectic, though it stays once the adjustment is done.

If I'm allowed to have a wishlist for Canon's handstrap, I hope they mark Canon mark as red or something. I'm a proud Canon user, & I want it to be stand out when I carry my camera. It does have embossed Canon logo, though it looks dull & dark that no one recognize it's made by Canon if you're more than 3 feet away.

There's a couple of after-market products, though I would strongly recommend to use what is official Canon product.

I'm just a amateur just trying to improve my photos via post production and since I have been using Lastolite for a balance card the results have been very impressive. I like that it folds up quickly into it's own pouch and it is very lightweight.

This item is definately worth the price.

The quality is great and it amazingly increased my night time capabilities. Although the light enhancement isn't that important and as great then the infared.

Anyways, this item is great for its price.

Not everyone "rolls" this way, but I never use a neck strap. When using my camera it is either in my hand or on a tripod. (It's in a backpack or shoulder bag otherwise.)The adjustments you can make to the strap are most useful. I have big hands and needed to adjust the strap somewhat loosely in order to hit all the buttons I need to on my D90. It still keeps the camera nicely attached to my hand. I'm happy I made this purchase.

When I started to look for a new lightmeter, I want something small, reliable, accurate, and can do ambient and flash. This little meter is not the most feature rich, but definitely one of the smaller more compact ones. And there is nothing that will break, unlike some of the units with swivel head. I have used Gossen LunaPro SBC, which is excellent for extreme low light, but a bit bulkier and lack flash capability. I have also used Minolta Flashmeter III and Sekonic L-328. There are definitely other meters out there that can do more tricks, but the small size and low cost of this meter enable me to carry it everywhere. After all, a meter used in the field is better than a meter left in storage.
