I took a look at this product in a store prior to purchasing it. There is no way the orange band would cinch around my wrist. Even getting it to stay on my upper arm was a challenge, and that was just on dry land. I'm sure things would loosen up further in the water.

I didn't get to test whether or not it floats. Assuming it floats and gets your camera to float with it, I would recommend buying this only if you have large hand/wrist OR if you have a separate, tighter wrist band to secure your camera to your wrist.

I'm new to star glazing and I always thought that I should get a telescope in order to see anything up there. But I was wrong. BTW, I also wanted to introduce my 3 yr old kid to this hobby... After doing some research, I decided to buy Celestron SkyMaster 15x70 instead. I was amazed by so many stars I could see through this binocular. The place I live has lots of light pollution, but I can see hundreds more already. I also like the tripod mount a lot. I was able to set up a simple station in my room, point to some interesting places and let my 3 yr old daughter see something. It only took me 10 minutes to setup, with lots of "help" from my daughter. I'm glad that both she and I could use this binocular and explore the great sky.

I took my olympus stylus 1030 to Lake Powell for a week and I guarantee I would have dropped my camera playing with it in the water. This worked better than I was expecting. I read a couple reviews about similar products that didn't float cameras and was kind of worried. Well I don't have anything to be worried about now. I could throw the camera off the house boat into the water and it would stay right on the top, not really ever going under the water at all. I would also leave the camera in the water for up to 2 hours while swimming and it never absorbed water like other people stated. Mine just kept floating like it said it would. When I am not by water I replace this strap with the normal one that came with the camera because this is way too bulky for everyday use. I would recommend ... Read More

This is the first tripod I have ever had. I have seen some others from my friends and this one is one of the best you can have for 30 bucks. It looks very nice and not cheap at all. And the poles are bigger than most of the tripods I have seen - which means more stable. It's also had bubble level (in the description it doesn't say that when some others' have, so in the beginning I thought that this one doesn't have bubble level. But it might be standard for all tripods). I'm very happy with my tripod. Don't go for some junk 10-buck tripods, spend some more money and you don't regret for your purchase.

6.Canon E1 - Hand strap from: Canon
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

It's not a cheap hand strap since it carries the CANON logo. I bought two of these & used them on my 5D & 40D. Adjusting the length on initial installation is a bit hectic, though it stays once the adjustment is done.

If I'm allowed to have a wishlist for Canon's handstrap, I hope they mark Canon mark as red or something. I'm a proud Canon user, & I want it to be stand out when I carry my camera. It does have embossed Canon logo, though it looks dull & dark that no one recognize it's made by Canon if you're more than 3 feet away.

There's a couple of after-market products, though I would strongly recommend to use what is official Canon product.

Don't misunderstand, this neck strap was received in good condition and is nicely made. The problem is that it is far too stiff. The original design was smaller in diameter and felt very supple. This one is like a small cable. It works, but is far too spartan in feel.

Not everyone "rolls" this way, but I never use a neck strap. When using my camera it is either in my hand or on a tripod. (It's in a backpack or shoulder bag otherwise.)The adjustments you can make to the strap are most useful. I have big hands and needed to adjust the strap somewhat loosely in order to hit all the buttons I need to on my D90. It still keeps the camera nicely attached to my hand. I'm happy I made this purchase.

10.Bushnell Binocular Cleaning Kit from: Bushnell

I like that it's compact and light, my only letdown was the pen, I thought it came with the cleaning head on the opposite end. I have purchased other pens like this (longer) that have a brush on one end and a cleaning head on the other, so I thought this was a compact version of it. It work's for me with my 12x36 canon's holder.
