After reading numerous reviews on Amazon and checking Consumer Reports reviews(they had rated these tops for the price range)I decided to take a chance on these. I can say that these are without a doubt the absolute best I have ever seen in this price range. I have purchased many many other sets over the years, including one very expensive pair by a famous German company (Starts with a S and ends with an R):) These blow them all away !!! Even the set that was 3 times the cost. The clarity and ease of use is amazing. I bought these binocs for casual use, and they're great for that! I leave them in the side of my hiking bag... they're light and take up barely any room. 12x power is very nice for such a compact design. Optics are good but not amazing. For $20, these are unbeatable value.

I don't know who they paid to write up the recommendations, but I will never rely on them again. I used to use recommendations because I thought that real people did them, but for this product, I think not. It had to sales reps.I see closer with the naked eye than these things. It was a waste of money put the return was a nightmare. They charge 20% if the box is open. Never mind customer satisfaction. How do you determine satisfaction if you don't open the box. We all know how distorting web pictures can be when looking for an item.They are never wha you think they are. Customer satifaction is a myth with this company and I will never order from them again. I should have trusted my first instinct. Never, never again.

I don't know much about Binoculars. Just wanted one to take with me to games and scenic places... so I bought it. And I am glad I did, because it's well worth it's price.

Nice, compact, light-weight binoculars. Great for birding if you don't want to shell out the cash for a "high-end" pair. I can safely say that I see better with these and find them more comfortable (because they are so light-weight) than some of the other, pricier binoculars I've tried. My only complaint is that they aren't fully coated, which means that they fog up eventually, which means that they only last for approximately six months if you use them regularly, but what do you expect for $13? Great for the price. And for beginners.

I'm new to star glazing and I always thought that I should get a telescope in order to see anything up there. But I was wrong. BTW, I also wanted to introduce my 3 yr old kid to this hobby... After doing some research, I decided to buy Celestron SkyMaster 15x70 instead. I was amazed by so many stars I could see through this binocular. The place I live has lots of light pollution, but I can see hundreds more already. I also like the tripod mount a lot. I was able to set up a simple station in my room, point to some interesting places and let my 3 yr old daughter see something. It only took me 10 minutes to setup, with lots of "help" from my daughter. I'm glad that both she and I could use this binocular and explore the great sky.

When I first received these binoculars I was seeing a double image. I tried re-adjusting them as per the instructions but no luck. I then contacted Bushnell tech support via their website's email. No luck, they never responded to me, even as I write this review. It's been over a month now. I took it upon myself to un-screw each of the larger lenses's then re-screwed them on and bingo I fixed the double image problem. They now work great. Even though I believe that Bushnell has good products, I would not make them my first choice in purchasing any other products that they manufacture simply because of the total lack of their customer service practices.

Having tired of carrying an otherwise wonderful pair of heavy Nikon binoculars to concerts and the theater, I settled on the Trackers. I was convinced by their near unanimous 5-star rating, even though I initially was tempted by the Consumers Reports "best buy" Olympus binoculars. No need to repeat the specifics of other well-written reviews. Suffice it to say that the Trackers are well-built, compact in size, light, and perform wonderfully. They very much deserve the 5-star rating that just about everyone has given them, including me.
