Kingston DataTraveler 2GB has failed in less than 2 weeks of intermittent use.

I have attempted to attach the device to several different Windows based computers and get the same error message each time: "USB Device Not recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned...."

Other USB devices work without error.

I have tried various command prompt and registry fixes, to no avail.

Bottom line really is that this device malfunctioned in a very short period of time. I had acquired this through the Pepsi Points promotion for free and still feel cheated.

i bought this xd memory card for my phone because someone had told me how expensive it was in the store and how i would get it much cheaper here. however when it arrived i put it into my blackberry and it wasnt reading that i had a memory card in. i went to the phone dealer to see if it was my phone that was the problem but it turns out that the new memory card i had received from amazon was magnatized and didnt work. after all the trouble i went through to get it, i have to go to a store and buy it for a lot more because i cant trust it to work if i order it online! my one advice would be... DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT! its a waste of time and effort and you can never be sure that it will actually work.

After receiving my coby 1.5 photo keychain, I made many attempts to load the software for my windows xp, nothing worked. I then went to coby's website and downloaded my software from them. It worked great. Please note that when loading your pictures, I was not able to load a few and then go back and reload more. So, I deleted what I already had downloaded, then added all of them together. I works great, pictures are very clear.

SanDisk Rules! Grabbed another set when Blue Proton(BP) offered excellent price with S/H. Should have waited a week for BP to return it to regular <$10 (including SH) price because they give you a free ($6 value) SD card reader when you buy 2. Oh well, cést la vie when one is impulse buying. SD regular is harder and harder to find and no luck finding 4GB SD regular anymore without an outrageous price tag. Prefer San Disk to cheaper versions because the lock key works and stays put. SD is also only what older devices like Palm TX and older camera accomodates. Even though newer SDHC cards are competitive in price, they are useless if older gear cannot take or read them. Each 2GB holds about 2-3 hours of video in .avi files for a portable movie player(PMP). An inexpensive to free card reader reads ... Read More

After a bad experience with another cheaper brand, I bought this SanDisk for a Kodak V1073 camera. The amount of storage is great, it recently allowed to take photos and movies for an entire vacation trip without changing the memory. The Extreme III is very fast to write with the camera and read with the USB reader. The reader is small enough to be carried in a camera bag without concern for space or weight. Since SDHC is not widespread yet, this kit with the included reader is a great buy. Highly recommended.

It's a nice looking, heavy, and very usable hub but I have one problem with it. Devices plugged into it are powered even when the Hub's power cable is not plugged in (which means that their only being half powered anyway).
My idea was that I would have multiple devices plugged into the hub and then have the hub plugged into it's own power switch where I could turn them all on or off at the same time with the flick of the power strip switch.
I like it and it has come in handy for me but I just wish that if it wasn't receiving it's power source that it would not allow any plugged in usb devices attempt to power themselves off of the computer's bus.
