This system works great. I know it says weatherproof, but some people think weatherproof means waterproof. It is not the same. Weatherproof and waterproof are two different things. I have had my camera outside for a year. It hangs under the eave of the garage and it has withstood 2 tropical storms and a multitude of rain storms. I can see and hear everything. I can even read the license plate numbers of my car without the outside porch light on. By the way I bought another camera and put it on top of my house. Waterproof? No. I spent $1.08 to get a clear bird feeder that I turned into a camera housing. That camera still works - 1 year and going strong. Hope this helps. Quint

This CCTV camera is one of a very few that offers audio.. and is priced very reasonable.. and easy to install :) I installed this camera for a friend which helped her Ex Son Inlaw get 90 days in the local county Jail for violation of the protection Order they had against him :) A picture may only be worth 1,000 words but a video can get you 90 days or more ....lol

I have owned many IR Color Cameras over the last few years. I live in an area of some extreme weather conditions and most cameras have failed within a short persiod of time. When I pulled this camera from the box I knew it was different, it has a solid build and professional weatherproofing. The camera mount is also very heavy duty and easy to work with. The picture is outstanding both day and night. Now I only hope it will stand the test of time and elements. Stay tuned.

I bought this camera to record the wildlife coming to our deer feeder and watering trough at night. I had a heck of a time getting it to work. The instructions were minimal and sadly lacking. The camera quality is great. I finally contacted the manufacturer and they were wonderful at helping figure out how to connect it. I was told that it connected easily to my VCR. That is correct if you know how. You have to use the RCA adapters that have the yellow plug either on the front or back of your VCR. I thought I was going to just hook it up coax style but it won't work that way due to the RF nature of the signal. I was going for cheap and did not want to spend the money for the DVR for a more permanent setup. The nice thing is that I can use this camera to 'add-on' to a more permanent ... Read More
