Picture quality, construction quality, Night Vision, and Field of Vision are all a letdown and I returned it right away. For the price, I suppose this is still a good "deal", but if you want an excellent quality Dome Camera with decent Night Vision, superb build quality, and a wide angle view look at the unit labeled "vandal proof dome camera", also from Amazon. It is more expensive, but has a VERY hefty and sturdy feel to it. Range of IR is greater and MUCH less granulated, resolution in daytime is fantastic, and one unit in the corner of a square room or backyard can cover nearly everything. Having recently purchased the Q-See QSD360 Outdoor Vandalproof Dome CCD Camera (Color) and Q-See QS2350C Weatherproof Color CCD Camera Kit With Built-in Heat Circulating Blower, I decided to give this camera a try since it featured built-in IR LEDs and the lens is hidden within a dome. If you compare the QSD360 and this model, the first thing you'll notice is that this camera is very lightweight and the dome seems to be made out of thin plastic, thus rendering this camera almost useless in outdoor areas where vandals may try to tamper with security devices. The IR LEDs sit on both sides of the lens and protrude slightly from the dome (the QSD360 does not have any IR LEDs). The quality of the camera is OK. I had to cut out the plastic covering over the lens to make the picture clearer. No good in dim light.

This CCTV camera is one of a very few that offers audio.. and is priced very reasonable.. and easy to install :) I installed this camera for a friend which helped her Ex Son Inlaw get 90 days in the local county Jail for violation of the protection Order they had against him :) A picture may only be worth 1,000 words but a video can get you 90 days or more ....lol

There is very little room to adjust the camera after you mount the dome. There is a screw that adjust the swivel, but its under the camera lens. Once you mount the dome, if you move the lens you move the screw and you cant tighten it. So the lens just moves around due to the tension in the wires. The bubble dome attaches using a shift lock similar to that of a cd spindles. If you do manage to get the lens just right, chances are the dome will not line up with the lens. Picture is ok for $25. Focus point is very close 10' or so. Anything further and you will not get a good look at whatever it is.
