I purchased two because they were inexpensive and got fairly good reviews. However, I began having problems with them as soon as I got them. I charged fully in my Canon battery charger, and as soon as I inserted the first one in the camera, I began getting the message "Change Battery Pack". I can get rid of the error by removing and reinserting the battery, but that is not acceptable. Then one battery soon refused to take a charge. It believes it is charged after about 10 minutes in the charger. The company did quickly replace the battery, so that was nice. I'm also concerned that the batteries I received do not look like the one pictured. They do not have the LENMAR name on them anywhere.

I use these repeatedly in my Cannon digital camera. I keep 2 sets, 1 charged and 1 in the camera. These rechargeable batteries have easily paid for themselves by keeping me from having to purchase regular AA batteries like before. They charge in about 2-3 hours and so far (after about 6 months) still seem to hold about 90% charge as when new.

This is a genuine Nikon battery. The performance of clones make them a very bad deal. Then there is the risk of failure -- destroying your camera, and anything nearby. GET the genuine article.

This battery is a must have item. I use my HF11 all the time to record and playback video. The battery that came with my HF11 is a joke. It sits in my case only as a backup, if I ever run out of juice with the 827. I would not worry a bit about it protruding out of the back of the camera a bit. In 10 seconds you won't remember and it's service is great. It will be the only battery you ever use. I only gave it 4 stars because the battery is expensive.

No even the only battery, I have the grip and I buy one BP511 from canon and two from Ultralast. The one which came in the camera its dead after 7 months not even with a hard use. The other one, after 12months dead (I use that with my previous 30D) The ultralast batteries still working good. Just 15$ I pay last year for those, 1600mAh.

I have purchased this battery in the past, and then tried generic batteries. The generics didn't hold a charge and were not worth even the smaller amount I paid. This battery is worth the money.
