...keeps on working? Well, that's what happened. I've had this little flash drive for over a year and used it to transport data back and forth between my home and work computers. One day I realized I'd misplaced it, and was horrified to find it on the bottom of my washing machine. I had apparently left it in a pocket and it went through the wash. I didn't bother to try the soggy drive, figuring it was ruined, so I put it aside for a week or so. However, when I later plugged it in, I was thrilled to see it seemed none the worse for wear, and neither was the data that was stored on it. That was back in July. Great little inexpensive, solidly made storage device. I just ordered three more....

Buyer Beware! The Sandisk Cruzer is NOT the drive you want to store Microsoft Office files. I used my drive for app. two weeks without incident. All of a sudden, several Excel files failed to load and a dialoge box opened saying a file was corrupted; then a few Word files were corrupted. Now all the Office files are corrupted. I tossed the POS.

Two small complaints, I had to reformat the drive so I could store some of my video files that are over 4gig, and the data transfer is a little on the slow side. Both are minor, so I would say buy the drive unless you really need a high speed device.

This is a welcome product in a world of $20 cables. The cable looks and feels like a quality product and does its job well. Some people have complained about the cable not clicking or falling out. This was not an issue for me. My only complaint was that the cable doesn't provide a visual indicator that its active like some other cables, but that can be desirable in some scenarios and I love the price.

I don't really have much to say. The only things I look for in a thumb drive is being completely blank (or be able to be completely formatted) to be rid of any preinstalled software, a reasonable design, and it not falling apart. This drive gets a lot of use from me and is my primary that dangles from my keyring. The only complaint I have is that the push-out design feels pretty cheap now. I fear that any day I am going to squeeze it in the wrong way and it will break. It hasn't happened yet so still no complaints, I guess.

We were running out of space on our desktop PC with many more movies in line to go in it. I decided to try an external Hard Drive and could not pass up the price and size of this on. We received it a few days ago and were like kids tearing open the package to get working on it. (New technology does that to us.) The ease of use of this product is refreshing. I was a little intimidated in the beginning, but that went away quickly once I began to use it. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs extra hard drive space.

This is the second time I purchased a Kingston Data Traveler, my first is an 8Gb. Works flawlessly. When I saw the 16 Gb for this amazing price had to have. I now have enough flash drive memory to carry most of my work and personal files so updates are a breeze. I've also used to transfer files from a failing drive to a good one with success. It was a somewhat slow process but when in field and it fails you use what you have and it worked great. I've used Kingston memory modules over the years with great success. They make a great product.

The 1 GB Kingston Data Traveler has met all my needs. It is dependable, durable, and portable. You're not going to find a much better deal for a 1 GB flash drive.

First of all, prior to buying this laptop, I only looked at the stats. The selling points for me was the large hard drive, and the extremely light weight. Aside from the identical stats, like the Atom processor and the RAM, and 6 cell battery, the HHD and weight were the very reason I bought this laptop. However, after I purchased it, I started getting scared for several reasons after looking at actual older reviews. Problems with a loud fan noise. WiFi problems (worried me the most.) I purchased this item a 1 year and 2 months ago. Right after the 1 year warranty expired....so did the Hard drive. Customer service would have cost me $41.00 to talk to a representative so I had to go to their website. I downloaded and tried all their programs...only to return with error messages. I will not be buying another Western Digital product again.
