I received one of these as a promotional. Functionally, it was totally cool. I dropped it. It broke. Done. It was a small drop. The type of drop my regular camera has experienced multiple times. The type my mobile phone has experienced multiple times. Etc. Nope. Dead. If you do buy one, buy yourself a case for padding - but the plastic is pretty thin stuff. Or buy yourself a camera that can do all these things and not break after a little wear and tear.

This little digital camera, video/audio recorder, MP3 player is a compact, lightweight piece of equipment to take on trips or any type of traveling. It's value makes it expendable should you lose it;it get stolen or damaged in transit. I was amazed at the quality of the voice recording I took while on a tour bus in Jamaica of the tour guide telling a joke. The only thing I miss on this Aiptek model is the extra video recording light that was on an earlier version.

I purchased this item for my son on his 11th birthday. He and his friends are always running around making "commercials" or skits. This is very easy to use and portable. We take it with us on vacations, it's light and there is no need for cables, tapes, or discs! The only "negative" is the record time. Thirty minutes is not always long enough, and if you don't have your computer around, you're stuck either deleting clips or not recording anything new. Also, you need to replace the batteries. It would be nice if it were rechargable.

I found no flaws with the d-spap av100, except for the fact that whenever I plug it into the TV, there is no audio. Maybe it is just me, but if anyone knows what my problem is please let me know. rskurban@comcast.net

when it worked, it worked great, but after about 2 weeks, the screen went black and stayed that way. luckily, i bought it used for cheap. unluckily, that voided the warranty. last sanyo product i will ever buy...ever. cant even find a place in my town that sells or can fix them. not willing to pay 200 dollars to get it repaired by the company. big ripoff. really pissed. i guess ill just have to live with throwing 350 dollars out the window.

Well, I've had this camera for over a year and it's done admirably. I've taken it across the country and it's taken quite a few beatings, it's showing some wear [dents/scratches] but works fine. The frame rate is a little bit slower than i'd like [you won't be able to see and baseball pitches, but you will see them hit : ) ] I like it as an entry camcorder and the mp3 player is nice to spend idle moments with. I would suggest getting at least a 512 mb. sd card, otherwise you may feel a little bit limited. Notice - there are ajustable frame rates and it is vital that you adjust these...I took the longest time to understand this, and regretably got several slow videos. still working strong though and i strongly recommend it.

I got this for my birthday a while ago, and is my first of a couple of digital cameras that i like to use regularly. most other cameras only take aroung 8 to 15 mins of video with a high memory card but this one takes alot more. with a 512 mg SD card you can take over 1 hour of video and hundreds of pictures on high resolution. the "mp3 player" is a little low rate but its ok. and i never really used the voice recorder, but when i did test it it sounded ok except for a low static sound in the backround. if you do get it i suggest getting an extra battery, and at least a 256 mg card. Most of the problems that occur can be fixed with the manual, and if you have a dot on your screen that doesnt change its alright because it wont come out in the picture. 2 megapixels is a little on the grainy side, but you can print ... when i bought this Camera i read other Reviews about it and i saw almost every one agree about the Quilty of the Video that it was not Good and i would agree witht hem too Ecery thing is looks good and Smoooth but if u plain to Shoot Video , Do not try that indoor it has to be Outdoor where is ligh and it has less than 20 feet for Good zoom . if you buy this Camera be sure you not looking for very Good Quilty Video , Do not write back and say this Camera has Bad Quilty of Video every one here telling you its not agood Camera if u plan to Record your Wedding or Birthday Party . i just Bought it and i thought to Return it back becose the bad Quilty of the Video but i thought to keep it and give it to one of my Family Kids.
