I've ordered the 12 inch thinner sticks for my dog before and he loves them. I ordered these by accident last time (wasn't paying enough attention!!) and although the dog still loves them they smell incredibly bad! The longer, thinner sticks no not have this bad smell (unless you stick them right by your nose I suppose). As soon as I opened the pack of these sticks the smell infused the entire house and when I gave the dog one his paws carried the horrible smell for days afterward. I finally put him in the sink and washed his paws. I'd recommend the longer 12 inch sticks over these simply for the smell. I ended up just throwing this pack out and ordering the longer ones.

Our oldees have bought freeze dried liver treats for several years and we just love them. In an effort to save a penny or two and try a different supplier (oldee talk) they bought this brand. The liver treats are just as tasty as all the others (generic?) but this package had far too many broken pieces and dried mush. It was sad to see so many broken pieces and all the dust in the box. The whole and even the broken pieces were good but I sure hope the supplier and liver folks do better in the future. 11-15-08 update: We almost finished the container and the incidence of waste (whole pieces that have been reduced to almost dust) is about 33% and that is far too much. Charlie LOVES his Texas Taffy. He first fell in love with them when he selected one of the smaller sized ones in a local pet store. It was his reward for enduring a bath. After paying almost $5 for one- I was thrilled to find the larger size with a much smaller price tag. Now Charlie doesn't need a special occasion to have one- he can enjoy it anytime.

Have bought this in store before. Cat loves this product! She eats, licks, and rolls around in it whenever I provide her a pinch. If your cat gets "high" off catnip, this should work for them too! (FYI, catnip is from the mint family. Note, cats over 3 months old will be receptive to the effects of catnip ONLY IF they are genetically predisposed. Half of all cats will feel no effects from catnip at all.)

I also only ordered this as a filler, but I think the picture is very deceiving. The package looks very full, and it's not. I had to come back and double check to make certain they hadn't accidentally sent me a sample package. Will not order this again...definitely not worth the $$.

My dog LOVES these bully sticks. They are much less stinky than other brands. The only downfall is that some of the bully sticks sent in the order were VERY thin compared to other bully sticks you can buy.

My concern about this product is it was made in the USA... Now it's coming out of China, and I am not going to order anymore after all of ours are finished. I make it a point NOT to buy products from China anymore - I just don't trust the safety.

My dog can be a picky eater when it comes to organic/healthy treats and he only eats these about 75% of the time i offer it to him.. i guess it depends on his mood? I actually tried them myself (i try all the treats i buy him before subjecting him to them because i will NOT feed him anything I find disgusting) and they're not too bad - tastes a bit like oatmeal. I do love how you can actually see the pieces of apples and carrots in the treats and I love how the ingredients are certified organic :) btw- the little story on the back of the bag "Newman Dog Tells All!!" is hilarious!!

The FURminator deShedding dog treats are AMAZING! You won't believe how much shedding they cut back on. We have a black lab/border collie mix who sheds like CRAZY. Or should I say, he USED to shed like crazy. After feeding him these treats for a few weeks (he loves the taste), something strange happened. We didn't have to vacuum every 2 days! We went an entire week before we even though about having to vacuum. And then, it still didn't need it! We can go about 2 weeks and the carpet is only lightly shed on.
