My dogs used it over the summer, and so far, no leaks. Definitely seems tougher than the other brand I tried a few years ago, which leaked within a year. Living in Arizona, I kept my home thermostat higher this past summer to save on my electric bill. I'm sure my two dogs appreciated the pad, and I will probably buy another so they each have their own.

This bed is not quite as cushioned as the photograph may lead people to believe. I may have to open the inner pillow and stuff in a bit more polyfil in order to make it more comfortable for my pooch. The filling spreads and leaves the dog's elbows and knees on the hard floor and as a result she's not interested sleeping on it. Other than being understuffed, it's quite large if that's what you need- at 52'' diameter, it could accommodate a Dane, large Rottweiler, or other Mastiff-type dog (or just leave a lot of room for your smaller pup to spread out). The description lists this item as machine-washable- the care tag is quite a bit more specific- requiring owners use a front-loading commercial washer to wash the outer cover. We bought this for our cat to find a warm place during the day when no one is at home, and because she is a little overweight we preferred this over conventional kitty homes. It is a bit flimsy, not too sturdy, and covered with dog paws but it is warm and nice. At first it took a lot of coaxing, treats and catnip to get her interested though. But now she enjoys sleeping in her little house.

When I received this dog bed the internal pillow was vacume packed so it would take up less space. When I took it out of the vacume bag the pillow never expanded to a point where it filled the outer cover as it's shown in the picture. I had to stuff it with some foam that I already had to make it full and more comfy for my dog. Bottom line... the outer cover is a good quality but the inner pillow was too small.

These cat beds are wonderful.My cats [6] can't get enough of them,one exits, the other goes in. There are other cat beds in the house,but they ignore them. These are their favorite.Apparently they feel very cozy,warm and protected within the design of the bed. When these beds arrived they're very much out of shape. I put a bunch of books in them to expand and give them the shape that appears in the photograph of the article. I recommend these beds!

We have actually purchased over twenty of these beds. All but two have leaked. The company is rude and difficult about warranty replacement (which you have to pay a fee for). All of the warranty replacement beds have leaked but they don't warranty replacements. We have given a few as gifts, but all of those have leaked and our friends were very upset. We have purchased beds that were larger than necessary for our dogs and are extremely careful with them. The seams do not hold. I am so sick of soaked carpeting and damaged wood floors. The dogs do love them, but we are buying a different product this time.
