Yes, I agree this is not the most durable tent in the world, but I don't understand the bad reviews. My 10 lb. cat has sat on the top of it and it has held up fine. This is a wonderful tent. It keeps the litter inside of the tent and off my floors. It causes the cat to go up and down the ramp instead of jumping off the side of the litter box throwing litter everywhere. I change the liner and lift the front of the cat box up with one hand and vacuum up all the left over litter once a week. It also is amazing for containing the odor. According to the reviews there must be a lot of lazy people that don't like to bend over to look into the tent to see what's going on. We have a black lab/australian shepherd mix who loves these. When playing fetch in the backyard, she'll always bring this one back, whereas normal tennis balls sometimes get forgotten. Of course, if you do manage to get her to leave one out there (usually by distracting her with food), we just have to throw a regular tennis ball any where near it for her to bring this one back. Not sure if it's the colors or if it has a different smell than normal tennis balls, but these ones are like crack for her.

Frontline Plus is by far the best flea/tick pesticide I have ever used. I have been a dog owner my entire life and I have tried many different products, none have worked as well has Frontline. It is a little costlier than the other brands, but it works much better. If I forget to put an application on my dog, within days of the missed application he will have a tick on him. Once the missed application is applied, the ticks just die and fall off. This is a great product for dogs, and is safe for children and family members. Frontline is waterproof and will last the entire month as promised. I live in the northeast and we get a lot of precipitation, and the frontline always works, wet or not. This is the only gate that we could find that was; reasonable priced, could span >70", provided a pass through door, was easily removable, expandable, and will adapt after the children are more mobile (such as gaurding the fireplace. I am especialy impressed with the quality construction and ease of installation. Excellent!!

My mom, a cat rescuer with lots of unwanted cats uses these for when she fosters kittens, and she lives in Florida. I am in Michigan and one of my 4 cats is older with thin fur, so I figured I'd get one of these things and try it out. It is made of hard plastic, no worries of cat nails or punctures going through it. It does come with its own cover, all of them should because there is a warning on the disk that you have to use it with a cover....still I bought another cover, duh. In 4 minutes a 1000 watt oven heats it up and it stays warm during the night, particularly if you put it under a blanket. I can't imagine my cats sleeping on it with just its cover. Amazon has the best price for this, I shopped around. I would happily buy another one and probably will in the future.

I really like my Yorkie's pen. I bought it for her when I go camping, so she doesn't always have to be on a lease outdoors. However, I wish it were a little more lighter for me. I also tagged each part of the gate, because I have trouble folding it back. Nothing's wrong with it, I just have trouble remembering how it folds.
