For the money, this is a moderately effective deterrent, IF you are not using a dog seat-belt restraint harness. After conducting research regarding vehicle safety and dog travel, I would wholeheartedly advise every dog owner to consider a crate or seat belt harness system. When affixed as pursuant to directions, the Outward Hound screen creates a barrier, but it never looks as taut and evenly fitting as it does in the photo depicted in this review. The small plastic adjustment "buckles" are too easily lengthened and shortened - to the extent that, in even a minor impact or abrupt slamming on of brakes, I doubt that the barrier would contain a dog over 20 pounds. Our new puppy, Bo, took to this immediately. I used newspapers with it to start, but then dropped the papers after a few days. He uses it without fail, and it is so easy to clean. Just a couple of sprays from a bottle of cleaner and a wet paper towel takes care of it. I do use the wee pads in the bottom of the tray, and they just fold up and go in a garbage bag. Great idea!!

I am owned by a very finicky Neapolitan Mastiff who snubs his nose at most treats. He has always loved the chicken jerky so I thought I would give these a try, a year later and these are still the favoured treat. The jerky is soft and is packaged in a resealable bag so it stays soft. Has no unpleasant smell when you open the package. A little pricey? maybe, however given all that my dog contributes to my life ~ he's worth it.

I've used Advantage for years on both cats and dogs and found it to be very effective for flea control. Last year I decided to try Frontline, even though it is more expensive than Advantage, because I read somewhere that Frontline also kills earmites. It may have got rid of the earmite but did not get rid of the fleas and my 3 big dogs still continue to scratch even after applying Frontline so from now on I will be switching back to Advantage.

I have a female boxer with a very sensitive stomach. She frequently gets indigestion. We have to be careful not to feed her any table scraps and keep her on the same amount of the same food all the time. Sprinkling Fortiflora on her meal seems to help her. She really likes the taste of it and gulps it down. It comes in convenient packets that you can take with you if you travel. It has really helped her.

Having recently purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner I was thoroughly amazed at the suction power and ability to retrieve hidden dirt deep down in my carpets, but what I didn't realize is that using the Dyson Zorb cleaner would greatly enhance the cleaning power and remove embedded dirt I hadn't known even existed. Wow! I'm sold. If your carpets need a serious refreshing I highly recommend this product.

Nothing wrong with this carrier at all. Its easy to assemble, easy to clean, sturdy, well ventilated, comfortable to carry, and well priced. There are certainly more expensive, fancier carriers out there, but this is all one really needs.

The bowls slowed down the dogs somewhat when they ate. The one thing I didn't like was they slide too easily. After I bought these I found them at petsmart and they had rubber on the botten so that they wouldn't slide around and they were cheaper.

Great stuff. My dog doesn't like it, but isn't freaked out either. He stops his bad behavior right away and usually I only have to use the sound tone on the collar control unit rather than the spray because the spray sends such an effective message to him.

As the owner of the Center for Canines, I board dogs, breed cream European Golden Retrievers, and am a canine behaviorist. I deal with more than a few dogs whose oral habits of intense chewing can cause much destruction around the home. Although this behavior can come from initial boredom, the Hartz Dental Duo bones provides the ideal medium for a dog's intrinsic need to chew, and they last a very long time. They help to remove tarter and keep a dog's mouth in good condition. I really find them to be a helpful tool also for nervous dogs to practice displacement activity. I highly recommend this product. Please throw away the bone when it eventually does become small enough for your dog to swallow, and replace it.
