i have two cats..one male and one female...and for a while i used feline pine which is an easy maintenance litter. the cats seemed to like it so i stuck with it, but after a few months of use, i noticed my female cat wasn't using the litterbox all the time. there were no issues with the male cat. he liked the feline pine. i would regularly find pee spots in a certain room from the female and i tried cleaning that area, moving the litter box, adding a litter box, etc. but nothing seemed to work. i saw this litter in the store and decided to give it a try. as soon as i got cat attract, my female cat stopped having pee issues immediately and used this litter regularly. my male cat even stopped using the feline pine he liked and only uses this litter now, so i got rid of the feline pine completely ... Lucy is a 5 lb Miniature Pincher, who travels to Costa Rica 3 times a year. She has been trained to use a pad since birth--no problem staying in hotels, relieving herself in the airport restroom, or any restroom. We live in the jungle on the Osa Peninsula--and NEVER go out after dark to pee. I cut the pad in half and keep it in the bathroom; it can get stinky after the first use, so I fold the end of the pad over the first spot, and then toss it after the second. This way she will pee on one pad 4 times, and it never smells bad. On the Osa we have to bury or burn all trash and garbage, or cart it back out with us. These get buried right along with the organic garbage, and I don't worry about harming the environment.

No matter what cat urine is a smelly problem. This spray seems to kill most of the urine smell. It's still a little too "perfumey" for my taste but better than what I've found so far (i.e. the typical carpet cleaners).

On the up side my cats actually use the litter box which is what it is intended for, however having four cats (five different litter boxes- of which I have four different types of litter boxes) this model has just a little to be desired. With a handle on top you would imagine that you might be able to carry the whole unit around together which would allow you to moved it for cleaning purposes however it does not want to stay latched. Other than that the high back is great if you have a male cat that sprays on the side rather than hunch down.

I use this to give my cat (with very sharp teeth) pills. This is my second one ,as I gave the first one away to someone else who needed to give their cat pills. It has a soft flexible top that will not hurt the animals mouth. Just one quick "pop" and the pill is in and usually goes right down because you can get it down closer to the animals throat. If your pet is hard to give pills, I would recommend trying this.

Fresh Kitty Jumbo Litter Liners / B0002TR21E These liners are much more thick and sturdy than the other brand I was using. They fit my "jumbo-sized" box perfectly, with plenty of room to spare. I don't have any trouble with the liner ripping, tearing, or spilling. However, as a caveat, neither of my two cats have claws and neither is much of a chewer. They leave the litter liners alone, and all I have to worry about is spillage and tearing.
