I needed a second litterbox for my cats and couldn't find one I liked locally so I ordered this box - I liked the size; but mainly the high back. So far I am happy with it...and ordered another one as a reserve -being my space for a litter box is limited. I did read reviews of complaints before I ordered it...but I didn't think they were important to me.(Only a few adhesive strips to hold the liner in place/cover didn't fit snug). So far over the course of 12 years...I found all litter liners to be failing somehow...so I just adapt. So the litter liner only stuck with a few adhesives...I just added more..making them out of scotchtape. I am a neat freak so I have tried many ways of setting up our kitty boxes. Wow--What a MESS my cats made using this litterbox! I have already taken it down. I bought it for my elderly cat (16yo) to make it easier for him to climb in/out of, but my other 2 cats used it also. The litter was everywhere and one even missed when "going." My cats loved it, I hated it! I will keep it for future use if/when my geriatric cat declines and will HAVE to use it, but for now, I am sticking with my extra-large covered litterboxes! Pros though: it does not seem to tip over, the horizontal size is nice to use against the wall -- does not stick out very far.

The product looks good in the picture, but I ordered this Item from AAFES and when I took it out of the box I was shocked. Not only was one of the latches broken and missing, but the craftsmanship of the product alltogether is terrible. It is made of very cheap plastic, like the kind you would find on a dollar store kids toy. The plastic is also poorly cut and looks like if I could put it together, it would not seal properly. This is not my first bad product sold by AAFES.. The military tends to stock bad brands so that they can get them at a cheaper price. I would not recommend this product to anyone, from any store.
