I have owned two of these litter boxes for 2 1/2 years and find them far superior to any ordinary litter box. I have 3 cats, and use scoopable litter, the CHEAP kind, and have NEVER had a messy problem like the other review states. As a matter of fact, this litter box is designed to use with scoopable litter, I'm afraid regular litter wouldn't work at all! It is important to use the box according to manufacturer's directions, keep plenty of litter in it, and roll it at least once a day. Also, while box is upside down, smacking the bottom of it helps to loosen the clumps stuck to the bottom. The other reviewer needs to realize that the clumps are not supposed to go through the screen, that is for the clean litter! The clumps roll over the screen and into the tray for disposal. This has been the perfect size litter box for small kittens. It is short enough on the front for the kittens to climb in without a problem. The tapered sides with the taller back keep litter from flying all over the floor, except for the front side. It is especially convenient to have the litter scoop that hangs right on the back side - so you don't have to find somewhere to store it.

These are great. The high back prevents spillage. The shape gives bunny plenty of space but does not take up a lot of room. It is deep enough to hold plenty of litter.

Out of ALL The many litter box covers I looked at, I chose this one because the description, the appearance and simple operating instructions really appealed to me. After I opened the box and examined all the parts, hardware, and other pieces. My first impression was "Hmmm. This looks kinda cheap." But I got it together easily enough. It looked great! My DH even commented as such(unheard of)! But after weeks of using it, I put it away ONLY because it was to be used as a training tool to help my cats get used to going potty outside.
