I was skeptical at first. Living in dry southern California, I've had a hard time CREATING, nevermind maintaining humidity. But the Tropicaire delivers on it's description. Unlike a cool mist humidifier that emits a stream of visible water vapor and can raise humidity to over 90%, the Tropicaire doesn't even look like air is emitting from it. However measure the RH (relative humidity) and it does maintain between 50-60% which is better than I was able to do with constant hand spraying. Plus there's the added benefit of circulating the stale humidified air. I'd give it 5 stars if there was a way to control the amount of humidity produced. Although you can purchase different air pumps and valves to control the air flow into the unit, it doesn't seem to affect the amount of humidity it's able ... Read More

This tree has not got enough area for the cats to climb comfortably from one level to the next. The fleece material that the platforms are covered with is very cheesy. The price is a good bargain, but I would rather pay more and get a better quality product. It is also somewhat wobbly on it's base. Not what I expected, so I am disappointed with the purchase. We will beef it up and add features ourselves to make it more fun for our cat.

I was kinda worried about how well it would work, since I bought it here on Amazon and the reviews made it look kinda sketchy, but I've owned it for nearly half a year now and I have not once had a single problem with it. I did notice though that if you place it over the surface where the bubbles from your air stone come up, the inside of the feeder does get a bit of condensation causing the food to clump a little and for it to shut down. But as I found out after doing a little bit of research, that is expected of ANY feeder, and the condensation will usually KILL it as well, so I guess this feeder is a toughy.

This heater works great I have it set just a little bit higher than it's lowest setting and it is working great. I have it in about 50 gallons of water and it handles that with no problem...
