I have an older Siamese cat with a thyroid disease. He has to have a pill twice a day for the rest of his life. Giving him a pill is a nightmare....... until I started using the salmon flavored Pill Pockets (which were recommended by my Vet). They are just wonderful. You put the pill in the 'pocket' and squeeze the end closed, and give it to the cat. My cat loves them. Now giving him his pills is quick and easy and painless for both of us. I've been using the Pill Pockets for a couple of months now with no problems. I highly recommend them.

I had used DMSO while in college 40 years ago and had forgotten of its benefit. While at 24Hour Finess some months ago two men in the locker room were talking about something they had heard could alleviate joint and muscle pain from their pre-arthritic conditions after a "good" workout. That something was my olde friend DMSO. Now, useing this in conjuction with both condroitin sulfate and glucosamine sulfate and a few other supplements, I too am experienceing greater recovery from my workouts and better flexibility during these workouts pricipally from the addition of DMSO.

Though I'd save money and buy these. They are about half as thick as the original charcoal prefilter, so I doubt they will do as an effective job or last as long as the originals.

Re: the reviewer who wrote "it says that it prevents microbe growth in the cartridge. Not in your humidifier". OMG, he's right! I've been using these things for 6 months and never noticed that. They do something, because I think my humidifier filter lasted a bit longer using them. But since I don't have any data to back that up, I'm going to stop buying them on principle. I'll go back to a liquid anti-bacterial chemical; I'll sleep better knowing that I'm not breathing bacteria-laden air. Maybe I'll come up with an easier method of adding the liquid to my units when I fill them, like maybe using a medicine dropper instead of a fraction of a capfull. Thanks!

I just moved into a new home and was not used to these types of filters as I had always purchased 16x25x1 type filters for my AC/Furnace in the past. Filtera shipped these filters quickly and they are great quality (original Aprilaire - not some OEM knock-off). Installation was a breeze (literally under 5 minutes total). I bought a 2-pack and will plan on buying several more to store until replacement. There are some filters that have a higher MERV rating (meaning better filtration at the cost of more frequent replacement and slightly less operating efficiency), but I would still recommend this product over them - even for those with significant allergies (like myself).

My wife & I religiously bought dental dinos for our corgi. He is a powerful, obsessive chewer that tore anything else apart that we gave him. He's been through many over the years. Recently, on a routine visit to the vet, they found that both of his molars on top were cracked & infected. They are currently performing root canals on each. If the root canals do not work,they'll have to pull his most important chewing teeth. The vet (who is a dental specialist) said that the injuries were directly related to this product. A $2000 bill and a pup with no molars. Sad day. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

I was skeptical if this would work for my dog. I didn't want to take the dog to the vet and have her on hormone replacement for the rest of her life; the cost was prohibiting (vets and drugs). So I thought to give bladder strength a try. All natural ingredients, sure enough it worked like a charm, couldn't of asked for anything better.

I thought this product would help with my new puppy's inability to control himself in my apartment. Unfortunately I've used almost a whole gallon already and he keeps peeing and pooping everywhere, especially on the dog bed. I've soaked and washed the bed with this product and it dosen't work. I've cleaned the floors saturating them with this product and it really dosen't work.

I have a top notch Vet (UC Davis and UCLA trained, diplomate,exotic animal specialist, avian surgeon, treats dogs as well and uses a variety of tools including acupuncture and acupressure as well as natural health approach to her veterinary practice) and she suggested these for my 13 year old yellow lab. Both he and our 7 month old lab puppy (who are both on a healthy diet that includes Nutro Ultra and Evo dog foods, a daily multivitamin, vitamin C and Joint Support from Trader Joe's) are given these to keep their teeth healthy.
